Answer:	If the casters of your chair are large and rough, it might work, but generally I wouldn't recommend it because it would cause accelerated damage to the rug weave. You might try piling a smooth acrylic mat on top of the rug, for a surface to move the chair wheels across.

Answer:	I have the 2'x4' in front of my kitchen sink. The secret is to put an rug pad. At first it is fine with socks or slippers on for about a week or so. Now we stand on it and it actually feels good on our feet. Note: The rubber type pad backing has not damaged or has affected our wood floors at all. Answer:	I have two dogs, so my opinion may not be the most helpful. This carpet is really thick, and not very easy to vacuum at all as it's also really textured. However, because of the texture and color, it hides the hair pretty well.

Answer:	I have had my rug for several months and have not noticed any shedding. Be aware that it may run small. I ordered a 48 inch and it measured out at 43 inches.

It depends on how many nail holes you are willing to have I suppose.

Here is a helpful guide for maintaining your natural fiber rug: Visible and loose dirt should be regularly picked up with a broom or vacuum cleaner.  For best results, you will want to shake your rug out prior to vacuuming, to release dust and debris.  This is called "dusting" your rug.   Use your vacuum's floor setting - be sure the floor setting for your vacuum can be used without the beater bar.  The beater bar, even while disabled, should not make contact with the rug.  Do not use a floor setting attachment that does not have a wheeled, gliding function.  Do not use any attachment that drags over a loop pile or flat weave, as this will cause fraying.  Liquid spills can dissolve dirt particles and bring them to the surface causing watermarks to form. Therefore spills must be dabbed immediately with an absorbent white cloth and then dried.  Professional rug cleaning recommended.

Answer:	i'm not sure what the backing is made of. it is artificial. i had put it in newly laid down hardwood floors. after a week, i could see some pressure marks transferred to the floor. i didn't want to ruin my new floors, so i ripped out the backing and turned the rug upside down. it was slightly sticky but its all good now. it is a beautiful rug. i've only had it a few months in a house that is on the ocean, so we'll see how it wears.
Question:	Does this rug have a backing, or is it all natural materials both sides? Thanks
Answer:	there is a backing. unfortunately the curl on one end is still there from when it was rolled up. we keep tripping on it so i'll have to somehow tape it down
Question:	How has this rug held up to pets and traffic? I have a cat and 2 dogs that have torn up a jute rug
Answer:	I just received the NuLoom rug & haven't put it down yet, but I've had another seagrass rug from another internet vender for 5+ years in my living room over carpet (high traffic area); I have 2 large dogs....a Lab & an Aussie Shepard....and the rug has held up very well ( vacuums nicely, does not break); finally some minor "dog" breakage (nothing like the jute rug I mistakenly bought before--It lasted about 4 months & cost a lot more) , and the cotton backing & binding are shot & it does have some recent stains; I saw this one on Amazon & I read several reviews regarding the NuLoom product on another web site; btwn the reviews, the price & the fact that this rug has a rubber backing instead if cotton, I decided to go w/ this brand---and I like the binding color much better than what was offered on the other brand---the beige is closer to Khaki which is a better color for my carpet/decor. It does smell like grass (not unpleasant), but so did the 1st one, the smell dissipated in a week or so. hope this helps....mbn

Answer:	I was unimpressed because I liked the design shown, but the rug I received was just plain round and nothing like pictured. But it was cheap enough that I didn’t care to go through the hassle of sending it back. It did have a smell but I hung it on the porch to air out and it has been fine since
