Answer:	They do not interlock. You install them with glass block mortar as you would any brick wall. You can get metal wall ties that you can screw to an adjoining wall and then bend into an “L” shape to embed in the mortar. You could also use clear silicone to glue them together for a non-structural installation.
Question:	do these have an open top or hole I can put lights into
Answer:	There is no hole that one can use to inset lights. I would suspect that one could drill a hole in the glass with the proper tool. I would expect a high breakage rate. They shatter when broken. While they are not “fragile” (kind of on the order of drinking glasses), they are very brittle and do break on any significant impact. There are lots of sharp edges and shards when they do break.

Answer:	Glass Blocks are traditionally mortared together. There is the Provantage System which uses spacers with silicone and then grouted afterwards for the DIY that does not feel comfortable with using mortar.

Answer:	I installed it inside a shower wall at the top to let natural light in for the application I used it for I used 1x6 and made a box trimmed around window frame with quarter round it worked great for mounting the window I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to mount this window in any direction the only thing about mounting it sideways would be the direction the window opens if you are using for a vent window it should work fine if you have limited space for a window that opens turning it vertical should have no effect on opening the window properly. Question:	Are these non slip grip to keep small items from moving on surface
Answer:	Not sure what you have in mind, but they are not like suction cups. They are to prevent sliding on a slick surface. EG, I have them on the corners of a cutting board so the board doesn't slide on our quartz countertops when I'm cutting/chopping/etc. So your small items might not slide around, but they would be subject to gravity or pushing or pulling.

Answer:	That’s exactly what I bought them for. Mine are placed on the bottom of my cutting board, so they never come into contact with the food I’m cutting on top of the board. I really don’t think you have to worry about that. I’ve had mine on my cutting board for a couple years and they’re still well adhered. (I actually stacked two on each corner so I would have a little height and to make it easier to reach under to move my heavy board.)

Answer:	I would say yes, these frames are high quality and the magnet strong, so both acrylic plates are tight. If you need something absolutely air tight, then I am not so sure.
