Answer: Have to use the cones that come with it. They have a hole in the bottom so the smoke draws down. I don’t like the smell of the incense. Especially after it’s out smells like an old capmfire

Answer: I have found that I don’t care for any of the backflow incense. They all just smell like an ashtray. However you can take normal incense cones and drill a hole in the bottom and they work the same. HEM has been one of my favorite brands of incense. They all smell good but not too strong. And it depends on what scent you get as to what it smells like.

Our cones are larger and thicker than most so please attempt to light the cones approximately 1/2 inch (1cm) below the tip and hold flame a bit longer. Backflow Incense Cones

It gets its name fromthe high tar content of smoke that produces in the process of burning flows from high to low like water. The backflow incense holder has a hole or a groove for the holes of incense, also conducive to smoke flow.



Basics of Using Backflow Incense Cones

Lighting an Incense Cone

First, light the tip of the incense cone, and allow the top to get glowing hot.

Next blow out the flame and allow the fragrance to release.

Finally place the cone on top of the waterfall burner directly above the hole. It will take about about 1 mintue for the backflow smoke effect to start.

Burn Time: About 10 minutes each Incense cone.
