Answer:	Have to use the cones that come with it. They have a hole in the bottom so the smoke draws down. I don’t like the smell of the incense. Especially after it’s out smells like an old capmfire

Answer:	I have found that I don’t care for any of the backflow incense. They all just smell like an ashtray. However you can take normal incense cones and drill a hole in the bottom and they work the same. HEM has been one of my favorite brands of incense. They all smell good but not too strong. And it depends on what scent you get as to what it smells like.

Question:	I received one of these products as a Christmas gift but it does not work. Can I exchange it

Answer:	I can’t say if it will eliminate cigarette smell however, it works great on eliminating cat box odors.

Answer:	They are basically water, so yes, the liquid would evaporate quicker, but you can add water through the top periodically to keep it going longer. I have one in my kitchen that is still going strong after about a year. I check it maybe once a week and add a little water when it's starting to look a little low. Having said all that, it'd basically be like an open container of fluid in the car so it should be secured in a cup holder; I wouldn't just put this under a seat. I have a little "Eikosha air spencer" (search Amazon for this) in my car and it has also been going for a ridiculous amount of time. I only recently opened the second side (you open side one and put the plastic cover on, and when it's weak, turn over, open side two, put plastic cover on that side). I just checked my order history and it was "Ordered on August 11, 2019". It's been in my car since I received it and when I open the door, I still smell it. Hope this helps. :)

Answer:	This was a gift, so I am not sure if it would be good as a smudge bowl. My friend did say it was a lot smaller than the picture showed. It is beautiful, strong and good for a single incense stick but for smudge? best to check the measurements. Hope this helps.

Answer:	No special ceremony. I bought the sage to help cleanse me and my apt of negativity. I lit one bundle and waited until the flame turned into smoke. Then I wafted the smoke throughout each room. Then I wafted the smoke up and down myself. I also said and envisioned the negativity vanishing from me and my home.Hope that helps. You can find diff ways to smudge all by yourself on the internet. You have nothing to lose but negativity.

Answer:	Burnt sage can smell burnt! :) Depends on what kind it is, and how dry it is.. You want to smoke the corners of your house, not so much your furniture- afterwards you should open your windows and let everything air out.

Burning Instructions

Hold the California White Sage over an open flame, tilting the end down at a 45-degree angle. Once lit, let the wood burn visibly for approximately 20 seconds, relighting as necessary.

Blow out the Sage stick and allow it to smolder. If the Sage is difficult to light we recommend untying the string and unraveling it a little bit. Sometimes the sage bundle is tight and doesn't leave much room for oxygen to ignite the flame.
