Answer:	According to the product description, it only “supports up to 22 lbs” so, personally, I wouldn’t risk using it for a receiver heavier than that. If you do use it for a heavier receiver, or even close to that in weight, make absolutely sure that you anchor the shelf correctly. It comes with only masonry anchors. If your wall is comprised of wallboard, buy the appropriate anchors from a hardware store and make sure that the middle anchor is affixed to a stud (best to use a stud finder). This is a very nice-looking shelf and I like it very much, but I suggest looking for a shelf with more substantial bracing underneath to mount a receiver heavier than 22 lbs. Good luck!

Answer:	Ours was missing a connection pipe. I went to the hardware store and bought the missing piece. It did not fit 100% What you are buying are not real pipes. It worked in a pinch. But that one shelf is not as tight as the others. I love the look of these shelves so if you really want it. I suggest you buy an extra shelf and use the parts they come with to make a longer shelf.
