This was all born out of a love of music, a love that began at the age of five, whether I was aware of it or not. My father ever so carefully took his favorite album out of its sleeve and placed it on the turntable, the needle descended and the opening bars of The Eagles 'Take it Easy' filled the room. All of my sleeves have been tested in the USA to meet ISO 18916 PAT certification! This design is meant to protect your album cover while still giving you easy access to the vinyl record. The album pocket has a 1.5 inch resealable flap to give you a perfect archival seal. The record pocket is open to easily slide your record in. I don't recommend store your record in the pocket without a good inner sleeve. The pictures are just to demonstrate the two pocket design. Our CPP sleeves have excellent properties including clear transparency, scratch resistance, heat resistance, and moisture proof. CPP (cast polypropylene) film has a clear advantage over standard BOPP, polyethylene, Mylar or PVC sleeves. What are the advantages of cast polypropylene? CPP has higher tear and impact resistance, better cold temperature performance and moisture transmission properties than standard sleeves. CPP won't turn cloudy over the normal life of the product, unlike other films. CPP is very hard to crease unlike BOPP and has some stretch forgiveness. Cast film is usually used in applications that require superior optical properties such as gloss, transparency, surface smoothness, and good tear resistance. Are they a little pricey compared to other low cost sleeves? Yes, but they are a true premium product to protect your expensive, irreplaceable record collection for years to come. First thing to know about cleaning vinyl records is that playing a dirty record will damage the vinyl and negatively affect the sound quality. Maintaining clean records will preserve not only the life of your LPs but also the life of your record player. Here’s a few tips for cleaning:

If your record is visibly dusty, do not contaminate your brush by dry dusting. You will harm both brush and record. Wet clean your record first.

To use your velvet brush, spin record on turntable and lightly mist brush with spray cleaner. Place brush at a 90 degree angle on the record. With light pressure on the brush, allow record to rotate a few times and then slowly slide brush towards you and off the record.

Dry dusting your records with a velvet brush before and after play is the best way to keep your records clean and sounding great.

Always remove surface debris and dust before any deep clean.

New records are not necessarily clean records. Clean your records before the first play.

Less friction is better. Be gentle with your albums.

A turntable or stylus in bad shape will damage your record. Keep your stylus clean in between records by using a stylus brush and cleaner. Always brush cartridge back to front, never side to side or front to back.

Answer:	While not a surfactant, Propylene Glycol is used to help remove dirt/dust from the record surface, and acts more like an alcohol replacement. We found that surfactants can leave a film on the record, while also increasing drying time.
Question:	I’d like to just buy the velvet brush, without the rest of the kit. Is that possible
Answer:	As long as the surface of the material that contacts the record surface is in good condition, you can use our solution with any quality record cleaning brush that is designed for wet cleaning.

Answer:	I'm not familiar with that brush. This has worked well cleaning my used records. The really dirty ones took several cleans.

Question:	how thick are the acrylic pieces
Answer:	Pins could be adjustable in height if you wanted them shorter but you would have to supply your own small washers on the bolt side. In my opinion the stock height is perfect. I run these on 3 different bikes and I am happy with them.
Question:	What's the size of the acrylics
Answer:	They are pretty smooth, I haven't gotten any bearing noise or anything out of the ordinary. They don't spin fast if you were to slap them with your foot, only a 2 at the most rotation.
Question:	Why does the stand with the display groove cost less than the one without it? The base is the same size, just different slots
Answer:	I loosened my screws to lower the pins, and they fell out!
