I sent one filled with his ashes to my husband's daughter and each one of his surviving siblings plus kept one for myself to put in the bedroom next to one of our framed wallet-sized wedding photos. Each urn comes w/a delicately scented velvet pouch with thin, corded tasseled ribbon for closure. The keepsake velvet box is satin lined, well made and truly gorgeous. Since each urn came nestled in a satin "pocket" inside the box and I had no more urns in it, I filled each pocket with an item that my husband carried on him every day of his life. They have no monetary value but they meant the world to me i.e. his watch, his 2 favorite hat pins, his favorite (of many) mini mag lites, his favorite of (many) pocket knives, a smooth, polished worry stone (green, my fave color) that he'd warm up in his hand and give to me to destress when we were out 'n about, a freehand key and attached red heart I made for him that said "You have the key to my heart, snd finally,our wedding rings. I don't know what your plans are for the urns but I sure hope you will be as pleased with them as we all are. |
