| Answer: | The finish of this urn has a design that covers the full surface of the urn. Because of this, this urn is not really appropriate for engraving. One of the reviewers uploaded a photo that shows the urn painted with a name and date. Look for the review from "MADELINE OSORIO on Nov 29, 2019". My recommendation is to hang an engraved medallion that comes with three lines of engraving. You can find it on Amazon at: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PHVM2FL/ This medallion comes with three lines of engraving, which you request when placing the order by clicking on the orange button "Customize Now" on the top right of your screen.
