Answer:	The first thought that pops into my head is the Olds "Mendez" model (named for the great Mexican trumpet virtuoso -- He is still considered by many to be the greatest trumpeter who ever lived), if you can find one that's in playable condition and is for sale. If that doesn't work out for you -- and you're still intent upon playing Mariachi music -- you'll want one with good wide, fast vibrato and reverb settings. (Just kidding about these last two, imaginary "features." In reality, you're looking more for a style of playing than a particular brand of trumpet. But do think about bore sizes for the lead pipe and mouthpieces you choose because these can either enhance or diminish the brilliance of tone you are likely seeking for your chosen musical genre or specialty). Another fun fact: Did you know that violas are not actually larger than violins? They just appear that way because the violists' heads are smaller. One of my sisters taught middle school orchestra. One of her favorite one-liners during sectional rehearsals was, "C'mon, second violins! If I hadn't wanted you to play, I'd have put you on viola!" Answer:	The valve guide is the white plastic piece on the valve. Inside the casings are notches that receive the valve guides and allow the valves to be depressed. The notches and guides are sized so that the valve can fit properly only in one orientation. Each piston has a number engraved on one side above the valve guide. This number helps ensure the valve is inserted in the proper hole and in the correct orientation. How to use valve oil properly:

1. Please oil the trumpet valves anytime before you play, in order to prevent accidental damage to the trumpet pistons.

2. Replace the valve without excessive rotation. As you lower the valve, slowly turn it clockwise until it locks into place. The oil will naturally distribute itself when the valves are depressed.

Answer:	Yes, it is a good case. It is not hard, but still protects. It may not look nice, but it does its job well.

Answer:	I am a band director with 10 years of experience and a masters degree in music education. DO NOT BUY THIS INSTRUMENT. It is poorly made and may work for a short time, but once something goes wrong no repair shops will be able to fix it. I have a 6th grade student currently trying to play on one of these pieces of junk and every time he tries to blow in to it, the tuning slide falls out, frustrating the boy and making it impossible to play. Poor quality, poor craftsmanship-- stick with a reputable brand like Yamaha or Conn/Selmer when purchasing instruments. They may cost a little more, but I still have the same Yamaha trumpet I started on as a 5th grader in 1994 and it still works like its brand new.

Answer:	My daughter had a brand new Prelude TR711 for a week and the valves start to stick. The local distributor says that the normal wear and tear that's why you need to lubricate it. But we had this Jean Paul for 5 months now and it never stick not even once and my daughter uses it 2x a week for an hour. We've lubricated the valves once which came with the trumpet just for the heck of it.

Answer:	I briefly owned the TR-330 before upgrading to the TR-430. They’re both WAAAAAY better than the price tags suggests. However, the materials, build quality and playability on the 430 are so good it is more than worth the little bump in price. The valves are RIDICULOUSLY good! As good as or better than many $3,000 trumpets I’ve played at music stores. The tri-color look of the 430 is gorgeous too. I get regular compliments. My primary trumpet is now the TR-860 and the TR-430 is my backup. I was so impressed with the 430 I just HAD to try out the professional version. As expected, it blew my mind in that too-good-to-be-true kind of way, where you wonder what you’re missing. I cannot explain to you how these are so inexpensive, but I am glad they are. The price point allowed me to get my hands on much better gear than I thought I could. Playing is pure joy. Like the 430, the 860’s valves are among the smoothest and fastest you will find at any price point. In case you’re curious, I use the Dennis Wick valve lube with PTFE. Works perfectly with these trumpets in my experience.

First Use & Extended Care



· Prior to first use, glass pieces should be hand washed individually in warm soapy water, rinsed thoroughly and dried with a lint free cloth.



· For optimal finish & clarity, clean with a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water, let stand for a few hours then rinse well and dry with a lint free cloth.



· Our glass is produced overseas in extremely large quantities for our wholesale customers, due to transit and mass storage, all vases should be cleaned before use to remove any accumulated dust/dirt.



· Change liquid contents of glass containers frequently. This will help preserve the products finish and avoid film build-up.



· Glass pieces should not be cleaned in a dish washer.



· Do not use products in microwaves or conventional ovens.

Answer:	It’s a quality instrument for the price. No it has not exploded, the keys have not gotten stuck, and there hasn’t been any physical damage to the instrument.

Answer:	No. Unless you have small hands, holding a trumpet should be no problem for you.
Question:	Do these fit a Jupiter trumpet
Answer:	Yes, it is a good case. It is not hard, but still protects. It may not look nice, but it does its job well.
Question:	is it suitable for bach tr400 trumpet
Answer:	I am a band director with 10 years of experience and a masters degree in music education. DO NOT BUY THIS INSTRUMENT. It is poorly made and may work for a short time, but once something goes wrong no repair shops will be able to fix it. I have a 6th grade student currently trying to play on one of these pieces of junk and every time he tries to blow in to it, the tuning slide falls out, frustrating the boy and making it impossible to play. Poor quality, poor craftsmanship-- stick with a reputable brand like Yamaha or Conn/Selmer when purchasing instruments. They may cost a little more, but I still have the same Yamaha trumpet I started on as a 5th grader in 1994 and it still works like its brand new.

Question:	Can i play revile/ taps on this and is it worth the price... willing to learn lol
Answer:	I doubt it. They are made for a Bach. I’ve never tried, so, it could be possible.
Question:	is it play able
Answer:	No, I believe the threads for the top caps, buttons, and valve stems will not match. Furthermore, the valve stems may not be the right length to align the valves in an open or pushed down position (e.g., the holes in the valves would no longer match the tubing for each valve). There are similar kits available for Yamaha horns to dress it up though. However, this one isn't that.
Question:	Does it come with a stand and a case? I'm just concerned because one review said that it didn't and I just ordered it
Answer:	No, they are for Bach Stradivarius only.
Question:	Can this be hung on the wall as wall decor
Answer:	these are made to fit the Strad and it is a professional grade trumpet, the TR400 is an intermediate student trumpet so it would be made with a thicker brass so this would not really be a good fit for it.
