| Answer: | my first one was stolen, it's basically a tin can base, so not easily bolted down. I put 1/8" steel aircraft cable around the neck, tight and clamped with cable clamp, made an eye on the opposite end with another cable clamp and tapcon bolted to concrete wall, the can can be moved in approx. 2' circle and can still be emptied easily. cable is not visible unless You look closely, has worked out fine for the last year or so. | Answer: | Haven’t had a problem with that. Update - after having the product for a while, I would not purchase again. It Doesn’t wear well and the nuts to hold the sections together have disappeared a couple of times. We also have a plastic Smokers Outpost which is at least 7 years and still like new. It is a press fit th hold the tube to the tank. It fits as well as the day it was received. |

Only thing I dont like is the cone type ashtray, would rather have the flat bottom, but it does work well and im better served using it. Im not using sand in ashtray and have found when putting out cigs on inner sides or putting out directly into a pile of butts like you would in sand it extinguishes them. Havent had any issue with burning butts or smoking piles of butts. Hope that helps |
