Product description

Blue dial. Silver-tone stainless steel case with a blue canvas band. Automatic movement. 30 meters / 100 feet water resistance. Fixed Smooth bezel. Tang clasp. Case size 37 mm x 11 mm. Seiko SNK807 Seiko 5 Watch.

From the master craftsmen at Seiko, the Seiko Men's SNK807 Seiko 5 Automatic Blue Canvas Strap Watch is a cutting-edge timepiece with a masculine appeal. Featuring a blue analog dial and a blue canvas band, this watch is packed with style and would be a great addition to your watch collection.

This is an automatic mechanical watch. Automatic watches do not operate on batteries; instead, they are powered automatically by the movement of the wearer’s arm. If the main spring in your automatic watch is not wound sufficiently, timekeeping may become less accurate. In order to maintain accuracy, wear the watch for 8 hours or more per day, or manually wind the main spring by turning the crown. When not in use, automatic watches may be kept charged with an automatic watch winder – a watch storage unit which may be purchased separately.

User questions & answers

Question: Wall clock round diameter
Answer: great clock..best ever...buy it .
Question: How wide is it across the face of the clock, not including the frame
Answer: It is 10 in across the middle with out frame...Nice size...
Question: does the clock frame rest flush against the wall (preferably) or can you see the mechanics from a side view
Answer: The clock frame (brown) doesn't rest against the wall, it's about 3/4" away. However, there is a plastic black housing that is slightly smaller than the brown frame that rests against the wall (which is were the mechanics are). You're not able to see this back surface unless you stand right next to it looking for it. This has been a great clock and doesn't make a sound.
Question: After reading the clock's description and comments, I'm confused. Is the frame real wood or resin
Answer: Looks exactly like " a dark-brown solid oak frame with a wood-grain pattern". I like it and it is silent. I have had it a couple of years.

User questions & answers

Question: What is the difference between it and model SSG021) besides the color
Answer: What is the part number of the replacement watch band for a Casio Waveceptor watch WV--58A? Where can I buy 2?
Question: When it comes time to spring forward, or back in the fall, how difficult is that or does the radio signal arrange for that function too
Answer: DeValuri, The watch is very demanding on an initial sync, after it has been running "free" for some time. To do that sync the watch should be put into receive mode, then placed where it can see lots of sky, not near any metal objects and left absolutely still until the sync is done. If you move it during it's attempt to sync, you may spoil the job and have to start over. The sync job can be done any time of day, not at the time (usually a few minutes after midnight) that the watch will auto sync. I have two of these watches and bought the second one when I thought the first one had quit working. Only after I discovered the tricks to do a proper sync did I realize the original watch was fine, I just needed to do the job the way the watch wanted me to. Good luck making yours work too.
Question: I wonder if the funtion of radio sync apply to other country like South Korea
Answer: The exact time comes from a radio signal that is broadcast from Fort Collins Colorado. And not from a satellite signal.
Question: Does the seconds hand move? Or it is just for chronograph
Answer: My casio wavecepter lasted 30 months before it started resetting to 2005. I measured the 3volt battery voltage, it was 1.68volts. Purchased new battery at Walmart $6.34. They will install your new battery free with purchase of battery. The new battery measured 3.33volt before installation. My casio now performs as when new. Make sure that battery installer follows instructions to short between battery + plus and metal ground plate for 10sec. during installation with metal object..

Our Heritage

The story of Seiko began in 1881, when a 21 year old entrepreneur, Kintaro Hattori, opened a shop selling and repairing watches and clocks in central Tokyo. Just eleven years later, in 1892, he established the 'Seikosha' factory.

Seikosha was founded; started producing wall clocks.

In 1892 Kintaro Hattori bought a disused factory in Tokyo and Seikosha was formed (In Japanese, "Seiko" means "exquisite", "minute" or "success" and "sha" means house). It was here that Kintaro Hattori produced his first clocks and these marked the beginnings of a company that was to become one of the important manufacturers of timepieces.

The Legacy Carries On

When, in 1913, Seiko built its first wrist watch, the company’s president called it the Laurel. It was not only a first for Seiko, but also a first for Japan and it was the beginning of a tradition of innovation that resulted directly from Kintaro Hattori’s determination. Today, after more than 130 years of innovation, Kintaro Hattori’s company is still dedicated to the dreams that the founder always strove to achieve.

User questions & answers

Question: what is the warrantee period for this clock
Answer: Can't remember. It's been more than a year for me and I'm sure I've lost the paperwork. I love my Seiko clock and because it's a Seiko you don't have to worry about any warranty. It's still keeping perfect time, and total quiet. It's funny watching the second hand and not hearing tick-tock. Very smooth rotation and kinda eerie because it doesn't make a sound, like an alien or something LOL If I had two kitchens I'd buy another. You can't go wrong buying this clock.
Question: Does any part of this clock glow in the dark? That was my search criteria, and this came up as an option yet the description doesn't mention it
Answer: No, the clock does not glow in the dark but it is a wonderful and beautiful clock. Very very quiet and keeps perfect time!
Question: For the clocks made and purchased recently in 2018, in what country is this clock's movement made? I heard that it is made in Thailand
Answer: Yes, the movement is made in Thailand and the case in China. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I bought a similar but nicer looking Seiko clock in 2011. It slowed down and then stopped working - in less than five years. Seiko ain't what it used to be!
Question: How far does it stand out from the wall, when viewed from the side
Answer: The bezel is the furthest forward surface of the clock and the distance between the wall and the front surface of the bezel is 1 3/8 inches.
