Answer:	Doing simple checks as below. - check to see if the pendulum hook been released from it's anchor post. - check to see if the battery been installed properly(note, the direction of the battery should comply with the marks on the bottom of battery tank) and check to see if battery is still have power, if not sure, try a new one. One thing to remind as emphasized in the description, Alkaline high current battery is not recommended. after these check, push the pendulum to a little angle and release, then let it swing on it's own. If it still not work then it's possibly a defect item. Return it for refund if you don't like it any more. Or return for exchange , all up to you and free. Hope this will help!

How to Install:

Step 1: Nail a hook into the wall.

Step 2: Hang the clock plate on the hook.

Step 3: Hang the paper scale on the clock plate.

Step 4: Use the included ruler to mark the number position on the wall.

Step 5: Peel off the paper from the back of the shiny acrylic number, then place the number on the black EVA number.

Step 6: Peel off the paper on the back of the black EVA. Fit with the corresponding position.

Step 7: Repeat steps 5 & 6 until all numbers are in their corresponding position.

Step 8: Place the hour hand into the clock plate in the 12 o’clock position. Attach the minute hand in the same position.

Step 9: Tighten the nuts.

Step 10: Install an AA carbon battery, set to the correct time and hang back on the hook.

Tip: It's better to ask a second person's opinion to help with the leveling and spacing of the numbers from one another.

Installation tips:

1. Please mark the position of the numbers using the paper rule (included), then stick the numbers onto the wall.

2. Do not attach the clock hands onto the base before you finish other steps.

3. Keep clock hands parallel and screw the cap tightly without gap.

Suggestion:

If you want to remove the numbers, use a hairdryer to heat up the glue behind the numbers. It will not damage your wall.
