Answer:	The brightness has 3 levels to adjust. I prefer the lowest level at night. It's pretty comfortable. However, this clock doesn't have a volume setting. The volume is fixed. It's loud enough for me.

Answer:	To set the time: press the button “down” for 3 seconds. This will make you have access to the year/date/time settings! Answer:	I have had the same problem. It does not seem to light automatically in the dark room, which is what I wanted. If I push the top right "Button" it lights for a few seconds but that is all.

Answer:	If you watch closely, it has "steps", but it's 30 steps over 30 minutes, so it's pretty seamless. You can't change the waken brightness or time duration - it's always 30 minutes prior to your alarm time. For example, you set your alarm for 6:00 AM, the light will turn on at 5:30 AM, go up in brightness from lowest to brightest, and then at 6:00 AM, it will play the sound alarm you choose (if you choose one at all) at the desired volume you set. So not much customization allowed to the lighted part of the alarm, but I still like it.

How to Set Alarm Clock Ringtones:

1. In the Time Display mode, press “+” button once, it will play one ringtone.

2. Press the “+”button once more, it will switch to other ringtone. Three ringtones can be changed circularly.

3. Each ringtone will automatically turn off after 5 minutes. The last ringtone you selected will be set as the alarm sounds.

NOTE: Before selecting the ringtones, please push the button to the “LOCK” position.

 

How to Set Snooze Time:

1. When the alarm is activated, the alarm icon will be displayed on the screen. When the alarm is ringing, the alarm icon will flash, press the “Snooze” button once to temporarily stop the alarm. It will ring again after 9 minutes.

2. When the alarm is sounding, press “+” or “-“button to turn off the snooze function, the alarm will stop ringing.

Answer:	Press and hold the TIME button down to activate time setting. While holding down the TIME button, press the HOUR button to advance to the correct hour. The PM indicator will light when the hour is advanced into the PM time. While holding down the TIME button, press the MIN button to advance to the correct minute. Release the TIME button when the correct time is shown on the display.

Answer:	The clock itself makes no sound. Alarm has 2 volume settings, not much difference between them. Loud enough to wake you.
