Answer:	It can be read very easily although it doesn’t have a backlight during daytime hours. It is your basic black digits/letters on your basic grey LCD background. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The back light is useless but it does stay on in darkness. The back light is so dim, you cannot read in an almost dark room. Marathon does not respond to emailed questions. The advertising picture is a phony. To make the clock readable in darkness, I made a bracket with led's to light the front of the clock. so I can read it at night. The only good thing I can say is that it does keep accurate time.

Answer:	The backlight is off unless you touch the icon with the light bulb. I have found that this device is very accurate, was easy to sync with my phone via Bluetooth, and very handy for watching the daily or weekly swings in temperature and humidity...an excellent value.

Answer:	So long as it is not exposed to rain. Direct sunlight could affect any electronics. And you would have the 'outdoor ' sensor which you could use indoors if you wanted to. Depending upon your climate extremes of heat or cold eventually affect all electronics. Should work with those caveats.

Answer:	Mine doesn't but I'm almost positive I saw the option to have the beep on or off. After all, there's an alarm built in so I would think as long as they have a beep alarm, might as well make it an option for seconds as well.

Answer:	Not sure on this one but you might try removing and replacing the batteries then resetting the clock.

Answer:	yes, this was for my 94 year old Mother and she has on a bookcase and has never had a problem.

Answer:	Mine did that too for a while. Then finally was able to set mode. BUT, back light is uncontrollable...flashes from light to dark go off, constantly. AND can’t set to atomic. If I turn towards Colorado, can’t see the face.

Answer:	The backlight can be activated with batteries. It stays on for about a minute and then goes off. If your using it as a table top alarm clock it is easy to temporarily activate the light. As a wall clock it is useless.

Question:	How does it display in a dark room? Is back light always on
Answer:	No,the backlight will be light when you press it,then wait 5s-10s,the backlight will fade.
Question:	I would like to know if this clock/calendar would be all right to keep on the dash of my car.?That's where I need to know the time and date
Answer:	No. It will melt. Also it doesn't remain illuminated. Bright sun will make the LCD hard to see. It is also light weight so you'd end up needing to glue it in place.

Answer:	I threw the piece of junk in the trash. Impossible to set comfortably and flimsey. Not worth my time.

Question:	Where is the button/switch to turn on the continuous time display on the ceiling? I have read the directions and can’t find it
Answer:	If running the clock with batteries, the time only shows for 5-10 seconds, probably to make batteries last longer. Do not know about using electric current . Do not think constant ceiling projection is a feature of this clock.
Question:	Will the continuous time display on if using the batteries or does it have to be connected to power charger
Answer:	You have the choice of using only batteries or plugging it in. The instructions tell you how to install with either choice. I chose to plug it in, but i also have installed batteries for back up in case the power goes out.
Question:	does this come with the AC adapter, and if so, does it allow the time to display constantly while turned on

It can receives signals as long as the range between the sensor and your clock is within 200 feet. Please note that there are factors that will interfere with transmission as well, including concrete walls, cellars, screens of electronic devices, metal doors, and other sources of signals (receiving phone calls, etc.). Question:	how do you keep projection light on,if I push the button on top it stays on for about 10 seconds and then it goes out, it used to stay on all the time
Answer:	Hello, thanks for your question. Both the projection and the screen is supposed to stay lit all the time after you plug in the clock. We assume that your clock has been searching for WWVB signal for time calibration, which happens after you reset the clock or at midnight. The projection and the backlight will resume once the calibration is complete. You can long press the "-" button to stop the clock searching time signal.
