Answer:	The alarm sound is a reasonably quiet chirp. The snooze is the same except twice as fast. What I don't like is that you can't set the alarm for the exact time. It will be in the neighborhood ( as much as 10 minutes later than you want). This clock is new to me and I imagine it takes practice to get it where you want it. Other than that, it's a neat little clock and keeps time fine. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I have had the same problem. It does not seem to light automatically in the dark room, which is what I wanted. If I push the top right "Button" it lights for a few seconds but that is all.

Answer:	Yes, I've had mine for more than maybe a year and a half, and mine suddenly stopped working recently. I bought batteries and put a new battery in, but this did not help. Just to check, I put the old battery back in, and I found that the light still works; only the clock doesn't. Not sure if this is the fault of the clock or tampering by someone, but I love the clock so am buying another one.

Answer:	you dont have to screw in the wall mount. It comes with an adhesive sticky attached to the wall mount and thats what i used in my garage ..or you could some of those 3M sticky things come right off when you move.

There are three brightness level which you can according to your personal preference to choose, also the light will auto dim during 8:00pm to 6am at night, but you can not adjust the brightness during auto dim night mode.

Answer:	If the closed position means out of power, then the alarm won't work. If the closed postion means folding, then the alarm will work if the alarm function turns on.

Question:	How do you set the alarm for 6 am as opposed to 6 pm
Answer:	Since the alarm sounds for nearly 1 hour, for 6 am you have to wait until 7 pm has passed in order to set for 6 am, and vice versa. Thank you for your understanding all this type of analog alarm clock are 12-hour clock without AM/PM. Thank you.
Question:	The last clock I got that claimed to be silent developed a gradual loud/rapid ticking. Has this clock stayed silent for those who've had it months
Answer:	Have had the clock for about one month. It is quiet, no problem. My only complaint is that it is too small: My vision is not perfect, I cannot read the time without my glasses, especially on waking during twilight. The hands are white, though outlined in black against a white background. Probably not a problem for a younger person.

Answer:	The clock is silent unless you put it against your ear. There is no ticking sound. The second hand turns smoothly like a plug in clock. I have never seen this type of movement in a battery clock.

Answer:	The light does not stay on or "time out". When you press the light/snooze button, the light comes on and it goes out as soon as you release the button. Simple as that. This is a great little clock.

The alarm, which is a beeping noise that starts out at one pace & progressively gets faster and louder in 4 stages.

You turn off the alarm by pushing down the bar on top - very easy, no fumbling around the back of the clock looking for a button to slide or push.
