What is 2.4GHz and why does the VibroSaver only support 2.4GHz?

The 2GHz Wi-Fi band uses a longer wave length than the 5GHz Wi-Fi band to ensure longer range and transmission through walls and solid objects.

We decided to make the VibroSaver compatible with the 2GHz band to ensure that the device is accessible from anywhere within your home.

Most home Wi-Fi will support dual bands (2.4GHz and 5GHz) as one Wi-Fi name while some Wi-Fi will support both bands as 2 separate Wi-Fi names. If your home Wi-Fi has different names for each band, please make sure your mobile device is connected to a Wi-Fi network without any notation on 5GHz in its name such as: 5, 5G or 5GHz.

To check which Wi-Fi your device is connected to, go to Settings > Wi-Fi on your mobile device and check if your mobile device is connected to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
