Question:	Is this waterproof
Answer:	Yes they are resealable. I used these at Boy Scout summer camp this summer and they worked well. I have since put the opened packages in a quart size freezer bag to make sure they don’t dry out. So far so good.
Question:	How long is the Warranty
Answer:	They stay just fine for me. But, I use them for the gym so through an avg. of 4-5 a week. I don't know of u left them sealed for months at a time. I also keep them near the top of the bag so they don't get squeezed. With that, no leakage and last one is as good as the first.

Answer:	No, but they might attract daddies.

Answer:	It costs only $13 so it's made in China, if it was made in New York it would cost $130, if London $230 :)
Question:	Where is the on/off switch for this lantern
Answer:	Just disassembled mine to make the lens "frosty" instead of clear (keep from burning my retinas!). There's a microswitch on top of the battery compartment. A long spring connected to the LED array presses against the switch to turn it off--extending obviously releases the switch. The battery compartment cover can be installed in 4 positions (rotating 90 degrees between). If not in the correct one of the 4, the spring would never press the normally-closed switch (opening the circuit and turning off the light). If your doesn't turn off, I'd suspect wrong orientation of the cover plate or that the spring has fallen off. Either would be a pretty simple fix. Curiously, I also found the long center screw was installed upside down. The bottom end plastic is shaped to capture the nut. It made initially disassembly slightly more difficult (you'll need a 7mm socket or open-ended wrench).

Answer:	Hello, the ad is not actually showing a battery but the collapsed lantern. It does take AA, 3 of them. I didn't buy my original lantern on Amazon but I came to buy a replacement one and looked at the questions. Oh, mine is having to be replaced because it kept getting borrowed once people saw how great it is until it finally failed to be returned. I'm buying several more as gifts!

Answer:	My old and new model are both dimable, but I think it's the firestarter in the lid. It would be good if the instruction showed how to use it though.

Answer:	There is no standard but there should be. Lumens are a confusing thing to advertise for several reason. Especially because this is a 360 degree light and not a focused beam. Plus, lumens increase exponentially as you get closer. Some manufacturers advertise 1500lux but they dont tell you thats from 1 inch away. At 6 inches, that same light would be 50lux. Even a car highbeam is 60lux if you back up far enough. There's no standard way to measure it so all claims are kind of a racket. Our responsibility as consumers is to buy these things PRIME and return them after trying them. The market will eventually get sick of covering that expense and a standard lux measurement will be instated (for example: 2 light sensors, 1 foot apart from each other, 4 feet from the light. That would be useful info). SHORT VERSION: Lumens mean nothing in this context.

Question:	Can you put real candles in these
Answer:	Haven't used in a tent but did use in black out in small room. It gives off a bit of heat so my guess is it will warm up tent but I wouldn't rely on it. Get a good temp rated sleeping bag. I have camped in cold weather and that is your best option.

Answer:	Three candles are included. I have two of these and converted one to a lamp oil burner. I prefer the candles due to ease of use and not having to refill the bottles. They are a bit expensive but well worth it and last approximately nine hours. I also carry two of the single candle burners with a neoprene cover in my backpack.

Answer:	Yes, each tube has its own spring mechanism. You can light one candle if you prefer. Or two. Or all three.
Question:	What is the return policy
Answer:	In a tent (hanging well below fabric!!!), I strongly prefer having three individual candle lanterns (actually 5 would be ideal-one in the center, four midway hanging from roof line). The multiple light sources vastly reduces shadows, as you would have from a singular light source. Some folks freak out with a candle in a tent, but use some sense-hang it at least 24' BELOW FABRIC OF ROOF and away from walls, and you will enjoy a crazy boost in tent temp. and reduces condensation immensely.

Answer:	I have a COB flashlight that takes 3 AA batteries & - it runs all of about 10 minutes on them & then dims to the point of useless - even on good 2800MaH capacity batteries. Why manufacturers make COB lights like these to burn through AAA batteries at warp speed... instead of using 18650 LiON Rechargeables that run for hours & hours...! I will never understand. I am now to the point where if a high powered light doesn't take 18650 LiON rechargeables - I don't even want to think about buying the hassle.

Answer:	No, the lantern part lights up when it's opened but there is a separate push-button for the flashlight.

Answer:	I don’t have it here, it’s in my beach house. Honestly, the roof does not stand out. It all blends for a great look. Best of my recollection it is a weathered silver, not bright. Hope this helps.
