Question:	I have had this unit a year and now the F flashes even though it's full. And it doesn't turn on consistently. Any thoughts
Answer:	There is a plastic tubular piece that should slide up and down to warn water is low (F). Lime / calcium build up and seize it or it doesn't get seated right on the switch. Im going on my third year with this unit. Beats Holmes / Sunbeam, etc. in its ability to cover my 2 bdrm apartment at 45% when its cold and dry outside. The others always end up leaking or making squeaking noises.
Question:	why does my humidifer show F
Answer:	Mine did the same thing when I received it. I called the factory in AR and they told me to turn the fan unit upside down and find a silver bar about 2" long. Spring the bar down a little so it will make contact with the water float directly beneath. Spring it ever so slightly and then a second or third time if necessary so as not to damage the switch. Once I did that the fan could be identified as F1, F2, F3, F4, or A. Be sure to plug and unplug the unit each time an adjustment is made so the machine can reset.
Question:	How often do you need to replace the filter if you run it every day
Answer:	Once in early November when I get the homie out. Replace it in January. I use both a bacteria stat and a liquid descaler which I squirt a little in when I refill the tank. Avoids smell and makes the filters work better. You can buy them premixed in liquid form. The better your wick works the less the humid will run and presumably it will last longer. I’m still using my old kenmore which I’ve had for several years.

Answer:	The "white dust" the questioner is asking about is mineral deposits from water when the water is sprayed into the air. This is an evaporative humidifier where water evaporates off of a wick, not a spray atomizer that sprays water into the air along with the minerals in the water. All of the minerals will remain in the wick of the humidifier, requiring the wick to be replaced. The higher the calcium content in your water, the more frequently you will need to replace the wick.

As for the essential oil, if you have one of our ultrasonic humidifiers, then yes that will be perfectly fine to use. Answer:	I wish the review of December 31, 2018 was the correct answer and it just contained ethyl alcohol. I received a bottle in September 2019 and was disappointed to see it contained n-Alkyl (60% C14, 30% C16, 5% C12, 5% C18) dimethyl benzyl ammonium chlorides, n-Alkyl (68% C12, 32% C14), dimethyl ethylbenzyl ammonium chlorides. I contacted the company and they sent me the MSDS which listed these ammonium chlorides as the active ingredients. I can't endorse something that is going to pump toxins like that in my breathing air.

Answer:	I find this unit noise compared to the MA25. This thing really needs a 4th speed. my results 3 feet away. Speed 1 - 35db, Speed 2 -44db, speed 3 - 48db. that said it does move a lot of air, you can clearly feel the breeze 15 feet away. If you have a larger room and don't mind the noise its fine. For smaller rooms go with the MA25 its nearly inaudible at lowest speed, very quiet at speed 2 and not bad at highest. It doesn't move nearly as much air so keep that in mind.

Answer:	Hi! It is not recommended to use this device when you are in the house. When you leave, you can turn the generator on. The standard time to wait is 30 mins but, if you are concerned about specific groups like kids or elderly, they might be more inherently sensitive so you'd have to add a few mins more for them. Answer:	Hi Ben! Ozone Generators are not considered as a radiological device because it does not produce ionizing radiation, including, certain sealed radioactive sources. Ozone is generated by Corona Discharge (most common type) or Ultraviolet Light. Ozone generators deodorize, disinfect, kill or remove dangerous or irritating airborne particles in indoor environments. However, ozone is a toxic gas with very different properties to oxygen. Whether it is a pure form or mixed with other chemicals, ozone can be harmful to health. Answer:	No. It blows the air straight up. All you can do is point the front of the unit in the direction you want but get little more than straight up. On 2nd and 3rd speed unit is very noisy so I only use the low speed. Also the float rod that shuts the unit off when it needs filling is unusable because of the cheap design. I corrected this by putting Gorilla Tape on the float switch to get the unit to run, but now I have to monitor the water level manually. I do not recommend buying this unit but the price is right for a cheap unit.Tim, Essex, MD

Answer:	I just got this unit in the 2700 square foot size and I do not care what anyone else says, I just put 6 1 gallon containers of R/O water into this unit without any overflow. In fact, not even close. It holds 6 gallons. Period.
