Answer:	Its an empty concrete vessel that you pour fuel in. We couldn't find alcohol so we bought small cans of Sterno canned hear - ethanol gel. Works great but the small cans only burn for 45 min, I think the alcohol would burn about the same time. We only use ours for a short about of time (for s'mores), so this works great for us.

Answer:	We bought it for outside but for a limited period of time. It blows heat at your feet but does not supply a large area of heat. We bring ours in after each use. Something propane or gas would be better for DC.
