Answer:	It is designed by Vornado Inc. in andover Kansas, but made in China. We had these in several offices, and ran them 8 hours a day for years- great quality and efficiency.

Answer:	Recently I noticed my Vornado would turn on, with indicator LED and you could hear the unit trip on when you turn the dial, but with no fan or heat. All I had to do was blast around inside with some compressed air, it fired right back up. I'm assuming accumulated dust/gunk was preventing a circuit from completing. I've owned it a few years and this is the only problem I've ever had, and it was due to my lack of maintenance/cleaning.
Question:	I have previously used tower space heaters. With this heater, what does each setting equate to? I want to set the temperature to 73 degrees
Answer:	Controlling room temperature when the thermostat is within the heater like all space heaters I have ever seen is just a rough idea and is much harder when it is very cold on the other side of the wall from the room you are heating. It probably will not work well unless the thermostat is on the other side of the room away from any cold walls. If you want precise control for the entire room at 73 degrees, you will need either a ceiling fan or a strong high volume air cleaner to constantly and rapidly circulate the air. Or a space heater with a 20 inch fan running on medium speed. Even under those good conditions, the thermostat in most space heaters will only hold the temperature with a degree or two. A space heater with electronic temperature regulation should do better, but when you have real electronics, it should be plugged into a surge protector. And if the surge protector has a cord, the cord needs to be 12-gauge if the cord is long or 14-gauge wire if the cord is short. Never plug a space heater into a typical 16-gauge extension cord as the extension cord will likely get hot and melt and start a fire. As always, electric space heaters are very inefficient and costly way to heat compared to a good Mitsubishi or Fujitsu mini-split electric heat pump, but they are very cheap to buy and are a very cheap short term solution. Space heaters cost at least 4 times as much in utility bills as a natural gas furnace and 2 times as much as a propane furnace for the heating of the same amount of square feet. The monthly utility bill for a high quality heat pump typically falls between the price of natural gas and propane and if you live in a place where you don't use a lot of heat in winter, heat pumps can win even over natural gas. Question:	Can I store the smaller, 1lb propane tanks on my terrace porch, possibly in a box, overall? in cold winters and hot summers
Answer:	For maximum safety, my recommendation is to store propane containers in a weather protected location, such as garage or shed with some natural ventilation. Propane is a highly flammable liquified petroleum gas that vaporizes and expands many-fold very quickly if released to atmospheric pressure, and will form a highly explosive mixture if released in a confined space without outside ventilation. If then ignited by a small spark such as a light switch, the resulting explosion may be catastrophic. There are on-line photos of boats that have exploded from propane leaks in the confined space of a boat cabin with catastrophic results including death of occupants. The cabin top and sides have literally been blown to pieces in such cases. New, sealed bottles of 1 lb size are reasonably safe, but once opened or partly used it is best to store away from occupied spaces. Although the probability is low, the consequences of failure are unacceptable. 20 lb propane containers should never be stored indoors. Question:	can i hook a large propane tank to his
Answer:	Yes, any size propane tank can be a source for it when plumbed correctly. The simplest way to go is using the F273704 hose directly off most tanks. That hose needs nothing else and goes direct from the tank to the heater. This model heater only accepts high pressure gas thru the "disposable tank" connection, so other hoses with that connection can be used as well as the "filter" F273699. The "filter" is to take out oils coming from most rubbers in hoses where the high pressure "squeezes" the oil out, but the 704 hose is made "oil-free" to avoid that issue. FYI I tried running this off a regulated low pressure source, but with it on "high" the glow was like "low" setting normally (showing a lack of gas coming thru). So if you have a low pressure source, the "Big Buddy" models have a connection point for such thru a quick disconnect using hoses like F271802 or F271803, but not this model (this one needs high pressure gas to get enough thru it's disposable tank port).

Answer:	Best guess is 4-5 hours on low. I sat in a hunting blind for 2.5 hours and the 1lb propane canister was about half empty.

Answer:	As soon as the weather gets cold, I put my Big Buddy Heater on a stand & use a Mr. Heater 12' hose with regulator running to a 20lb. tank in living room. I use the hose with the low pressure regulator on it & hook it up to the quick connect fitting. I have 2 20lb tanks in mint condition, and rotate them as needed. This will be my 7th winter using it. Old windows & doors let air in and I have a carbon monoxide alarm near by. Also use a leak detector to check all connections after hooking up a full tank. If it's really cold, I'll start it on high for a short time, then run it on medium & it keeps living & dining room warm. Cuts my oil bill down greatly.

My room is ~12’ by 10’ and 9’ ceilings and it works just fine I usually wake up and turn it off in the middle of the night because I get too warm. Answer:	No! It’s perfect at 500 watts. 250 watts is way too low and 600 watts usually trips the circuit breaker in older homes. Don’t change anything Amazon.

Answer:	It is designed for that; however, I would not recommend leaving it unattended. I will not leave this one unattended, meaning that I am, at the minimum, at home. I am guessing that you are worried about safety, so I will address the issue of safety: A safer heater would be an oil-filled electric with a timer and a thermostat and that has three levels: 500, 1000, 1500Watts; why is this type of heater safer? Because they dissipate heat across a much wider surface area and they are cooler to the touch - but at the same time, have more heat coming out of them on mid or high level settings; DeLonghi is one such manufacturer / product; these heaters will typically get a UL rating, so look for that also;

Question:	How many units can be plugged in before breaker trips
Answer:	Short answer is maybe 2, but 2 can still trip your breaker if its on the same circuit (each room is typically a different circuit) and running at 100%. This depends on your circuit, most are 15A or 20A. Loosely the math is 120V * 15A = 1800W. In the 1800W scenario you can have 1.8 of these units running at full capacity. At 120V * 20A = 2400W you can have 2.4 of these heating units at full capacity. Given you may have other appliances in the room on the circuit you might not be able to run 2 of these units if that is the case. Best bet is to get one for each circuit (typically by room) or move up to the 1500W model for each circuit.

Answer:	I have used this heater continuously for a few weeks. In a small uninsulated area approximately 200 sq. ft. it has done very well. very simple to operate and safe, light and easy to mount it will cost you the use of 110v outlet.
Question:	dimensions and what power supply
Answer:	It is small but powerful for it's size. It's about two feet high and a foot and a half wide, only a few inches deep. It mounts on the wall in just a couple minutes, very easy to put up. I use a couple space heaters in my small home because it's old and doesn't have a central heat source. There are two, small electric base board heaters for the whole house and the space heaters do a good job of compensating. I live up north and we are experiencing wind chills of up to 50 below zero at times. On those INSANELY cold days it does take two space heaters to heat our home. However, when the temperature is up to 20 above or more, the Heat Storm does fine on it's own.

Question:	can you mount this on a wall or something
Answer:	The heater does not have any mounting holes. The internal fan, which is quite a good size (and VERY quite), draws in air from the back through an approx. 5" round vent. With this in mind, the fan could be placed on a small wall hanging shelf (that would allow the rear fan vent to draw in air without obstruction; given that the back of the heater would have at least 2-3 inches of clearance). It would be very "do-able" and very easy to construct. In my opinion, using wood as material should not create any safety concerns, as the ENTIRE plastic housing is not even warm when the unit is on. Great question and idea!
Question:	does it start automatically at night if I set the temperature before I go to sleep
Answer:	There is a knob/dial on the right side that should turn the unit on/off so the room stays at a set temperature, but it does not work the way it is supposed to. The room will be too hot before it shuts off and too cold before it starts up again. I definitely do not advise leaving it running when you go to sleep.
Question:	will this automatically shut off, if it over heats or if it's tipped over? thanks
Answer:	Mine tipped over and kept oscillating and full heat face down into my purse on the floor. It melted everything in there....my glasses, credit cards, lipsticks, etc. I am glad that I woke up. There was no auto shut off, alarm or reduced heat.
Question:	How much did this heater increase your electricity bill
Answer:	I actually DECREASED my monthly electricity bill for my two-bedroom apartment by over $50 by using this heater, coupled with a timer to shut the heater off when I don't need it running.

Answer:	Hello, Thanks for your questions and interest in Amaze Heater products. The unit is designed to be mounted on a wall in order to create natural convection heat. Mounting in a free standing position without being mounted on a wall will eliminate the unit from creating convection heat and will only operate as a radiant heater lowering its efficiency. Question:	Are these supppesed to come with a reflector which goes on the wall
Answer:	No. The SOLO comes with heat reflector on the wall. The DUAL has a heat reflector already built into the heatguard and we do not want to install the heater between two heat reflectors.
Question:	Is odor of manure to be expected on all of your heaters? This is our second. Both have been run continually for a week and the odor persists
Answer:	I too had read this before I purchased the heater. I initially plugged it in out in the garage for several hours, ultimately detected no order at all. Installed it on the wall in a bedroom the following day. There has never been an odor associated with it. Perhaps I'm lucky, but so far it's been used several times during the day and nights, and it's been fine.
