Answer:	Apparently this unit is set up to be plugged into a cigarette lighter as described in the bragging notes. I however, would advise you to (NOT plug into a cigarette/power l port) for safety precautions. I know they say you can (but) Plugging in that way can overload most new vehicles circuitry behind the dashboard power port with that amount of amperage draw!!! These new vehicles nowadays run just about everything on a computer. It would be a shame to damage something so expensive to repair or even replace. Here is what I would suggest; (remove the cigarette lighter connector coming from this compressor and replace it with a set of “alligator battery clamps”). This will reduce the chance of any fire or damage to your cars electrical system. The additional benefit to converting the power cord is the (additional voltage and amperage supplied to the air compressor.) This makes the device work much more reliable and efficient. (ITS A WIN/WIN SITUATIONAL PRECISION). Also when using any device that says (12 volts is required) it should in reality say: (runs on 13.4 volts since that’s the normal automotive operational standard across the board. Please do not let fancy advertisement endanger your cars operational well-being. Also, please take into consideration the amount of time you run these types of compressors. At this $ price point, this compressor cycle duty is more than likely at 33% or less! In other words; (20 minutes on and a half hour to cool down for the compressor). If the original advertisement is accurate, you should be able to fill two or three 18” tires in a row without resting the compressor Which is pretty good as long as it matches the same tire size as stated in their description. Is this a good compressor? [Yes, for the price,]. But as with any Chinese constructed equipment you must think of it as a kit that you should use common sense to operate. It’s not hard to improve the safety of this little compressor.

Answer:	The Hayward # IDXLBVS1930 is the Blower Vacuum Switch for the Hayward H-Series Low NOx Heater models ending in either "IDL" or "IDPL" only. Although the design and color of the switch may have changed over the years, the function remains the same. The Blower Vacuum Switch is attached to a tube that connects to the blower assembly where air is drawn into the blower assembly thus creating a vacuum for the switch to measure. These same models also incorporate a Vent Pressure Switch which is mounted adjacent to the Blower Vacuum Switch, but performs the opposite function. The Vent Pressure Switch is attached to a tube that connects to the blower assembly where air is forced out of the blower assembly thus creating pressure for the switch to measure. Answer:	I am not sure that it would not burn a child's hand. That said, I don't think a casual brush against the front would cause a burn. The heater is a radiant heater. It is designed to radiate the heat out and heat objects and the space in front of it without getting extremely hot itself. Caution would always be prudent though.

Answer:	I have a recently purchased AVH10. The unit is remarkably quiet - on the low setting I can barely hear the fan. there is no audible hum whatsoever. Works great - much better than the older models I have purchased

Answer:	Same thing happened, but next day it started working again! And i already returned one for same issue. It seems what's happening is the tip-over switch gets flipped and turning off/on won't reset. But let it sit over night and discharge. Guess what -- it works great today -- I'm totally serious. I tried everything yesterday to get it to work. I tried everything yesterday to fix it, it would come "on" but no fan/heat. Today works great. So fan needs some time to discharge once the tip-over switch is flipped. What you should do is turn it on "AFTER" you have it plugged in, after you pull it out of the box, so tip-over switch is not flipped. If you don't do that, you can reset it by unplugged the unit over night, and then try again--> (after its been unplugged for a while) move to proper location, THEN plug in and operate. It will then work perfectly.
Question:	Would this work well for warming up a 500 sq ft garage with no insulation
Answer:	The slight buzzing is NORMAL on LOW only. It's the regulation circuit on the control board. Note: if you have low voltage condition (110v-115v) when a 750-1500 watt load is on the circuit, this heater (on low) may go into "protect" mode because the fan doesn't spin fast enough to remove the heat from inside the unit.

Answer:	It doesn't work. It heats the air in the immediate vicinity of the space heater and then turns off while the rest of the room is still chilly. As for cost, look at your monthly electric bill or contact your electric service provider. You want the $0.0xxx rate per kilowatt hour. In my area, the first 750 kw used in a month are billed at $0.0804 per kWh. Each additional kw is billed at $0.0538 per kWh. Take the rate for your area times 1.5 kw per hour times the number of hours per day that you will run the space heater times the number of days that you will use it in a month. The Lifesmart LS-3ECO heater is a very good heater for small rooms - I now own three of them. Concerning the square foot heating ratings on this and all heaters, note my statements from my review of the heater: Some people have complained about the unit not heating their area. For the size room I have (12 x 10) it works just fine. I think the best use for heaters like this is to take the chill out of the room and not as a source of primary heat. Often I have it on for a short period of time, and then I shut it off because it is warm enough in the room. With all heater advertisements, you need to take the maximum heated room size specification with a grain of salt. There are many factors that determine if a given heater will provide sufficient heat for an area. For example, are there any openings into other rooms, is a stairway present in the room where the heat can rise, how many windows are in the area, are there any outside walls, how well insulated are the walls, how cold is it outside, etc. For a small unit like this, it should adequately heat an area of about 300 square feet; again, it depends.
