It really is good for a small bedroom. I use it to warm the sofa/seating area around the TV but beyond that I'd have to use the house heater. Answer:	No It is not 3 phase, but it is 220 volts and not 115 volts, to wire it it needs two hot wires and a ground, I said ground, being AC current the two hot wires alternately act as a neutral. With 115 volts you would need one hot wire, one neutral wire, and a ground wire. This furnace will work on 220 volts only.
