Question:	is an external 2 stage regulator for the 30,000 BTU unit necessary
Answer:	For propane or natural gas? If you're putting in a new propane tank yourself, then you will have to install one. If you have natural gas, the regulator should already be out by the meter. And if you ALREADY have propane, the regulator is probably outside right where the propane line comes into the house. So, if you're unsure, just check with your supplier or utility company.
Question:	Do the unit get physically hot to the touch
Answer:	To my surprise it does not get hot to touch Not even the top

Answer:	My wall studs are 2x4 then I have 3/4 pine inside and 1/2" sheathing with siding outside and it works wonderful.

Answer:	I own the 20000 BTU unit has a pilot that is manually lit by piezo. Pilot can be turned off when heating not needed. I can't speak for the rest but suspect they work the same way.

How to Use Patio Heater

1. First unscrew the red ignition button and install AA batteries (not included)

2.Turn the propane cylinder valve to open. (Not included)

3.For the first start, press and hold the control knob and turn it counterclockwise for 15 seconds to clear the air in the gas line.

4. Press the red ignition button, you can see the indicator light is on. (If the indicator light is off, please repeat the above operation before continuing.)

5. Rotate the control knob counterclockwise. The burner should light up. If it does not light up, please return to step 1.

6. Adjust the flame to the desired temperature.

Pay Attention:

(a) The hose and regulator are not included in the package, so you need to buy it yourself

(b) Outdoor heaters need to use hoses with a length of 3FT or more

(c) The heater needs to be loaded with AA batteries to start ignition (batteries are not included)

(d) The heater can only use pressure reducing regulator, and does not support high pressure regulator !!!(otherwise the heater will be damaged)

(d)The hose connecting to our the head of heater needs to be tightened with tools, it cannot be tightened by hand.(If you do not tighten the hose and the pressure reducing valve interface, the gas will rise, so flames will be emitted.)

(f)Don't use it on the top or in enclosed spaces, please in a good air circulation and good ventilated place.

Answer:	No, this unit does not have a thermostat. It's manually controlled. You turn it on/off and adjust the temperature by hand.

Answer:	Comes as a wall mount does not have a fan. We fixed a stand for it to sit above the floor got a fan to blow heat. Works great need to get 3/8 connector to hook up gas line. We bought Mr Heater 12 ft and run off lp gas tank using in garage.
