Question:	Would this be sufficient enough to heat the inside of my car in the winter months
Answer:	If you are asking about winter storage for your car to keep it from getting musty, that might work. Sort of like heat sticks for gun safes and pianos for the dampness. If your asking about living in your car, it wouldn't be warm enough for me.
Question:	House for stray cats...does this heater need to be clear of all bedding? is there a chance of fire
Answer:	I have mine in a cat house with towels and a cat bed around it. The towels touch it. It's uncomfortably hot to touch on high, but doesn't burn my hand so I felt it was safe. I've not had any issues with it so far.
Question:	Do you have to worry about this being to close to the chickens? Do you have to mount it where they cant get to
Answer:	The answer to both questions is No according to the instructions. I did place mine on a wall so the chickens don't poop on it. It sits just above their heads while roosting. It also heats objects. Also it will only heat to about 45 degrees which is the highest temp you want for chickens. If the chickens get too hot they move away from it. The panel is not hot but warm to the touch. I find it to be very safe easy to install. Haven't had -30 degree weather yet. It has been in the 20's here at night and I really do love the product. Safe for everyone.
Question:	When will the built in thermastate turn on and shut off
Answer:	I couldn’t find this information either so I emailed the company and asked. This is their reply “Thank you for your inquiry. The internal thermostat does not automatically shut the unit off or on; it only regulates the temperature of the unit to maintain 140F. The unit will ONLY shut off if it overheats to above 180F; this product must be manually turned on and off.”

Question:	How well does a built-in thermostat work for adjusting the temperature of a whole room compared to thermostat mounted away from unit on the wall
Answer:	The unit comes with a built in thermostat so I'm not really sure. This unit is in my basement (right at the bottom of the basement stairs) and I have a wall unit thermostat at the top of the stairs that controls the heat in the rest of the house. The temperature on this unit is generally a few degrees cooler than the wall mounted thermostat, but that could be because hot air rises. In general, it does seem to keep a pretty accurate temperature reading.

I have it set to 40 degrees to keep things from freezing and then turn it up to 68 degrees when I need to work in the office. The heater has been able to maintain the temperature between 38 and 40 degrees without difficulty. The insulated office space in the garage is 12' x 26'

Answer:	If you mean plug it in then no. If you mean the 240 thin instead of 120 that just means running two lines to it. My father did it for me and we just replaced an old one so the lines were already run.

Answer:	I have this in my living room and run it during the day most days. I have small children and they can't stand in front of it for too long when it's running because the air gets very hot. But I have never had any of them have an issue touching the metal.

Answer:	We do not have a sone level/sound ratings on the wall heaters. The only products that we supply sound ratings for are the fans that exhaust outside.

Answer:	I'm going to assume that you might be talking about a place that you visit for a vacation or some other reason, but not a full time residence, so thereforyou (set it on the lowest level) when you leave hoping the Broan will turn on (when it gets cold) to save your pipes from freezing.In that case, I might not be the best one that can answer your question. (However) I live where my Broan lives, In the winter time I set It on # 2 settingand It does a great job. Question:	Can you use this product in a travel trailer
Answer:	Yes, without screwing on the plastic feet attachment, the panel is flush (no protrusions where feet attach). Using this as a kotatsu heater is interesting - the kotatsu I grew up with had a much higher wattage infrared heater on a thermostat. This one will take a while to heat up your kotatsu (say an hour), but it is low profile, efficient, and only warm to the touch - might be a good cost-effective and safe choice for a small kotatsu.

Answer:	This unit has a standard (U.S.) 115 v grounded male plug end on a cord that is about six (6) feet long.

Answer:	We use ours under the desk but I don't see any reason it couldn't be on the desk. They don't radiate terribly far at their low power so it would need to be right next to your hands to have a major impact.

Answer:	This unit comes with a metal box that is recessed into the wall cavity by a rectangular opening that you cut into the wall. This unit was installed in 2012 and has been working excellent ever since. I wired it to a timer switch that goes up to 60 mins so the switch can be turned on to run the unit for a set time, and this unit has its own thermostat control setting. It has worked great in our kitchen ever since. - recommend it! -Alan K

Answer:	This unit does NOT have a positive off. It does shut off if turned all the way counter clockwise IF the room temperature is above 44 degrees F or so. Temperatures below this will cause the unit to run indefinitely unless that temperature is reached. We discovered this in a vacation house in the California Sierra that is vacant much of the winter. Temperatures often are in the teens, twenties and thirties and the three units we have cycled constantly in this weather. We called Cadet to complain and they sent us three replacement thermostat switches WITH a positive off position for $22 each ($71 total with tax). Cadet's wiring directions are ambiguous (I'm an electrician) but I was able to figure it out and now all three shut off in any weather. Cadet might make a unit with this positive off switch factory installed so, I would check with them first and get that part number if they do. I can see nor reason why any of their units should come without a positive off switch. The unit works well otherwise, but I never would have purchased this model if I knew that there wasn't a positive off feature.

Question:	Can heater be installed in floor
Answer:	The heater is designed to be installed in the wall 4" above the floor. It would not be recommended being installed in the floor.
Question:	I just received my new heater. Are the interior components supposed to be connected to the can with just one screw? It seems a bit insecure
Answer:	there are a couple tabs down on the bottom of the unit that hold that part in- seems to be solid
Question:	How do you wire this up for 250 or 500 watts? i only need it to pul between 250-500 as the space i am heating is small and power is very limted
Answer:	This can be wired for several wattages during installation, including 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1250 and 1500 watts. Please see installation guide included with the heater for requirements.
Question:	How long do these typically last? i have an older dec2422 from 2009 that i may need to replace already
Answer:	I have five of these that I installed as part of room by room remodels starting in 1998-99, replacing old baseboard heaters. One is a 120v and the rest are this model. We vacuum them occasionally, and twice a year we pull the grills off and clean them more thoroughly. All but one are doing fine. The one that is starting to fail is in our main bathroom. We think it's failing due to all the moisture in there since we have three teens lined up every morning for hot showers. Even then, that one's lasted 14 or 15 years, and we're replacing it with another just like it as part of a larger remodel (along with better ventilation). All the other heaters are working fine, including the ones we bought in the late 90's. I'm happy with these heaters, and plan to stick with the King brand.

Question:	does the fireplace always displace the temperature
Answer:	It does not. It will display it every so often and then go away.
Question:	When installing the crystals do you remove the white plastic piece that the logs sat on or keep it there
Answer:	You need to remove any of the packaging material, the log sits on a metal compartment, nothing else. Remove anything plastic.
Question:	Does it have overheat turn off protection
Answer:	I’m sorry,I don’t know yet! Our handyman is currently building a shiplap wall that the fireplace will fit into. It is not finished yet.

Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we are unable to answer your question or recommend this product for any product other than our Cozy Legs.
Question:	What is the width of the gap for the panel? Thinking of using this for a different flat panel heater and don’t know if it will fit into gap
Answer:	The width of the area (gap) for setting a flat p[panel heater is approx. 3/4 of an inch thick.
Question:	Can someone post some picture of how this works
Answer:	I will try to add pictures. You have to position the stand right in the middle to hold the Cozy Legs so that it won't tilt or fall. Measure the panel and then place the stand right in the middle of the panel.
