Answer:	It does depend on your ceiling height. A small room 500 square footroom could possibly be heated. I don’t rely on it for this heating effect but more esthetics. Answer:	It's a perfect fit following the instructions. 2x6" plus drywall. No way 2x4" will work.

Answer:	The Ignite XL series is only set up to be hard wired. A smart plug could not be used. The controls and remote included with the fireplace are easy enough to use.

Question:	Is there a smart plug that will work with this FP so it can be controlled with Alexa
Answer:	No. If you follow installation manual you do a direct connect of the wires to the circuit with no plug involved. I am not an electrician so I am not sure if you could wire the FP to a cord that then plugged into a smart plug, then controlled by Alexa. The other issue is I wired mine for 220, not 110. I am not aware of any smart plugs that handle 220 so you would have to install the FP with 110. Interesting question. I love my Dimplex, I set the temperature to my desired degree and when I turn it on I set the timer for a specific amount of time. Not as clean as Alexa but works for me.

Answer:	Your ssdvt-3530cnm fireplace used 2 different gas valves and the 69L17 was used on the models with the SIT Gas Valves. You will need to know what Gas Valve you have before ordering a Pilot Assy The Sit Gas valve have 2 knobs.. 1 knob with Off/Pilot/On and the other knob with A Hi-Lo adjustment. The Honeywell Gas Valve will has a Push Button ignitor in the middle of the Gas Valve with a Star on it
Question:	I have a superior/lennox direct vent fire place thats lp. i want to convert it to natural gas. the model # is dt500cmin. will the 69l17 work for this
Answer:	You will need to get a full conversion kit to change this unit between fuel types. Unfortunately this model was made before I started selling Superior and I don't have the conversion kits. If you Google search "Superior dt500cmin" the site Lennox Hearth Parts Store should come up. It looks like they should be able to help you with the full conversion kit.
