Answer:	I got 2 different sets than you so I don't know the answer to your question. Every set is different, it seems. 82835 (11 pc) had a lid with the 12" skillet. After several years I needed a replacement set and got 83852. That doesn't say the 12" had a lid--I don't remember. If not I kept the lid from 82835--it fit.

Answer:	Sorry... I have not tried to do yet.

Answer:	It will respond like any other NOAA weather radio and turn on after it picks up the alert tone. It will not however display the alert type. Example: Your area is under a Flood Warning or a Severe Thunderstorm Watch, it will trigger the alert mode and turn on the radio so you can listen to what Alert is being broadcasted. On weekly tests your radio will respond the same.

Answer:	It's about 3 inches and sounds good for it's size. Very happy with it.

Answer:	About the same. The only advantage of the pr-dw4 is it has weather alert which is ok but i have been woken up at 2 am too many times for weather alerts especially for maritime weather that doesn't even effect me. The pr- d15 has better speakers, has a 200mm ferrite rod on par with the GE super radios and is the obvious choice for what you're looking for. Its on my to get wish list.
