Answer:	The one I got hass a double layer of material: fabric on the inside and upholstery fabric on the outside, with an elastic around the edge that holds the whole thing onto the indoor part of the air conditioner. I also cover the *outside* of the a/c with a separately purchased plastic cover to help keep the cold air outdoors in the winter. The combination of this indoor cover and a separately purchased outdoor cover keeps the room pretty comfortable and draft free.
Question:	How well will it fit a 18x12x2? Does it have a draw string to tighten
Answer:	We used it on a 18x14x2 unit. So height was exact but 3" less width. Worked fine, no drawstring. Can't say it will work as well when you are also going short in two dimensions. Maybe, but might keep looking. Good luck.

Answer:	The covers i purchased fit pretty well. I purchased inside and outside cover. It really depends on the depth of the AC unit you have. After taking your AC dimensions, each of the covers will tell you what size they fit in their description.
Question:	Is the white a true white
Answer:	Yes, this is a pure white. No hint at all of any beige or eggshell.
Question:	This cover appears to be the closest to my measurements required. The depth is 5" at top & 5 1/2" bottom---will the 4" stretch to that
Answer:	We would not recommend sizing down for your unit. The best thing to do is size up, if the cover is too small.

Question:	Do you find it really keeps the cold and wind out? any suggestions on what to do to with the flimsy side panels to keep the cold out
Answer:	We also had a plastic cover on the outside (a different brand). Along with the outside cover, it kept the cold out. I’m not sure if will without an outside cover. It’s not an insulated cover. It’s similar to a thicker table cloth.

Answer:	My FooZet cover arrived with an under cover that fits tightly and a looser over cover. Use both, since they function to keep all unwanted air out of the room. Don’t go with the smaller cover, as only the outer cover will fit.
Question:	my unit is 24x18x3" will the 25x16 stretch enough to cover it
Answer:	my unit is 26x15 and it fits good. I have a wall unit. I'm not sure if you are going to be able to stretch it 2in. Good Luck!
