Answer:	It's not easy to clean the inside of the tank. You'll need a round flexible brush that can be bent. You can't fit your hand into the far side and around the mist exhaust. It's impossible even with baby hands. I do like this model and even bought another one.

ADVANTAGES OF THE TOP FILLING CONSTRUCTION

BOTTOM FILLING MODELS:

To refill the tank of a bottom filling humidifier, you have to remove the water tank and take off the cap at the bottom.

The bottom-fill design is inconvenient, as the opening is often not large enough and you cannot fit in your arm for thorough scrubbing. It is also time-consuming and requires certain skills. This means that cleaning the water tank is often problematic, as it is impossible to fully remove mould and mineral build up.

The bottom filling type of humidifier is also prone to leaking, as water creates pressure on the cap at the bottom. Even the slightest crack will lead to a puddle on the floor.

TOP FILLING MODELS:

Question:	can I use essential oils in this
Answer:	Part 2- please read part 1 of my answer first!! A: I guess there's a character limit lol! Ok so tutorial continued from my above post: This is the super easy part! Take you Essential oil blend you made or purchased that you want to infuse into the pads and add just enough oil to coat the bottom of the container. Add your clean and dried used scent pads to the container. You can add a few pads at a time .if you have a few like I do, I usually infuse 8 pads at a time, adding 3 pads at a time, add more oil to the container. Add just a little for now. No need to saturate them yet! Put lid on and give it a good shake. Continue this process until all your pads are in the container. Now once all the pads are in the container just look At the pads and see how much they soaked up The oil. You want the pads to look/ be fully coated but obviously not dripping in oil. I've tried it both ways... where I filled up the jar with oils and allowed the pads to infuse that way but I've found it just makes a mess when you insert them into the scent pad compartment on the humidifier with dripping oils. It's not necessary and just wastes oils. So just add enough that the pads can soak up. This may entail letting them sit for a few days, check on them and add more scent/ oil as needed. When I infuse my pads I put just enough oil in the container to cover them. Store in your refrigerator. Then I check back a few days and the pads have the perfect amount infused. Before I use them, I let them infuse for a few days, like 3 or 4. I shake them up as often as I think of it just to stir them around because the pads will stick to each other if you don't and then you'll end up with dry patches with no oils and who wants that? Lol I try not to open the jar during this time but I'll check them to see if some stuck together. Don't use your fingers... use a pair of tweezers to handle them any time you touch them. So basically you've just knocked off or hacked the vapor/ scent pads! Keep the stored in the refrigerator AS IS until you're ready to use them. Again, to use, take them out with tweezers and place in the scent/ vapor compartment of your humidifier! Enjoy! Hope this helps you

Answer:	Not overkill, there are 4 levels of fan speed, I use level 4 for 1000 square foot room.

Answer:	It's engineered in USA, made in China with a five star rating in Quality of Construction.
Question:	How often do you have to clean
Answer:	About once a week although cleaning it every couple weeks is not a big deal since it has a carbon filter cartridge that is supposed to stop viruses and bacteria from going into the air. The carbon filter should be soaked in vinegar every 30-45 days in use like the instructions say. I use RO water for regular operation that does not have any chlorine or chloramine in it so I may have more of a bacterial issue than others. The nice thing is that RO water is that it does not cause leaving behind mineral dust as if you are using tap water.
Question:	Does this unit emit cold and warm mist

Question:	Where do you get the filters
Answer:	Yes it only releases water to a certain level. Has a spring loaded cap that dispenses as needed. There is a wicking filter that has to be replaced occasionally. It has a humidity control that you set for your comfort level.
Question:	Are the wick and filter the same thing
Answer:	Holds one bottle full which is 2-1/2 gallons. Unless it is really cold out, one bottle lasts 24 hours. Best is to plan filling it up first thing in the morning and that will last 24 hours. When it is mild out (75 ° in KC today) one bottle will last 2 days.
Question:	Is the Copper night selection model hd3120dcn
Answer:	I live in the desert so on "Low" I would have to fill it twice a day, on "High" I would have to fill it 3 times a day.
Question:	The top of the filter housing on mine only connects on the two front tabs. The back of the housing just sits on top of filter. Is this correct
Answer:	Sort of hard to say - since it's subjective. I keep mine outside my bedroom door - on the first speed - and it doesn't bother me at all. Sort of just a low fan sound - about the same as the heat kicking on and off. I don't notice it at all. However, all of the other speeds, in my opinion, are very loud. It goes up to 5 - and that sounds like a 747 idling. I guess if you had it in some remote location and wanted to crank it up, the higher speeds would work. I live in a 1200 sq ft townhome and, set at 45, it keep the upstairs (where it is) at about 45% and the downstairs at about 35%. Perfect for me. I'm really happy with it. No more shocking all the pets with static electricity!
