Answer:	No. I ordered 4 of these and received them last week. All 4 had the same issue: The battery compartment is too big so the battery falls out of place and it won't turn on.

Answer:	No it does not. It has a FLOW regulator. Even with it closed enough to barely move the flow gauge, it can still built 15-20psi if given enough time. I would not use this machine for EVAP testing without some sort of regulator modification.

Answer:	There both the same. Read what's in them. I use baby oil. It's what I had.

Answer:	Don't know how or why you want to register it but I'll tell you that you will want to replace the internal hosing after the first use. If you don't, the smoke will come from the box, not the hose connected to the car.
