Additional info: as you might have read the light to say if the water is out on the 'mister' - never turns off being red. Answer:	Sadly, I agree. It soaked the surface around where the fan is blowing way more significantly than it should. The only solution is to get smaller spray nozzles. I have found them at a specialty hardware store. Too much water pressure in the hose can lead to a rupture, so the valve shouldn’t be cranked any higher than to provide effective spray.

Also, the power cord is about 6 feet long, and I'll have to add an extension to get power to the fan. Overall, I'm very please with this fan. I live just north of San Antonio and I have this fan on my back deck. On low, the fan provides adequate cooling, even in 95-degree temperatures. When I had the water turned on, even on the low setting, the fan brought the temperatures to a very cool temperature.
