Answer:	I got one purifier but the filters were already inside (not packed separately). You have to remove the filters from the air purifier and remove the plastic wrap. Surely the 2-pack ones would be packaged the same. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Answer:	dead4red answered your question but I just want to emphasize the need to stick with what the manufacturer suggests for sq footage. I bought this model in 2013 for our bedroom after my allergies really got much worse and my allergist told me to rip up carpeting and replace with area rugs that can be washed (cotton), cover the mattress/boxspring/pillows with quality allergy protectants, take down curtains, and buy a Germ Guardian HEPA air purifier. I did all but thought it may not matter that this model is too small for our bedroom. Yes, I slept better but finally decided to get a model that actually covers the area. And it made a huge difference. If your allergies are not that bad and/or you just want to get rid of smells or something, then you're not in the same league as me. But if you have the allergies that I have and it is very problematic, don't do what I did initially-be cheap. Instead, cough up (not literally) an extra $50-$100 and get the model that manufacturer recommends.
Question:	It says 155 Sq foot room, which I didn't realize. I am planning on using it for a 225 sq foot room(15x15)... will it still be useful

Answer:	Hello, I just received my unit. I plugged it in and the Power Light was flashing red AND the blue UV-C light was flashing. Resetting the unit by pushing and holding in the UV-C Button changed the power light to green but the UV-C light is still flashing. Any suggestions? Answer:	The hepa filter is not washable, I use the charcoal black filters that they sell with the hepa filter or seperate, I use my shop vac and once a week I use the shop vac to remove the dust etc out of the filters you can feel the suction from the other side. I have reused one chrcol filter for 3 weeks now whem.I use to replace once a week, the air quality is just as clean as a new one. I use one filter for 4 weeks with a good shop vac sessiononce a week. I have respiratory disease and my inside air quality monitor showd the air quality the same with a shop vac cleaned 4-week filter as it does with this brand new filter.

Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. HEPA filters are rated to capture at least 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns in size or larger. They do this by physically trapping the particles in the air that pass through them. The Air Genius iFD filters capture 99.9% of particles 0.3 microns in size and larger by charging the particles in the air, causing them to stick to the iFD filter. While the iFD filter can be washed to clean the particles off, HEPA filters need to be replaced periodically. Answer:	We find that we aren’t bothered by it in the same room as us if it is on a setting of 2 or less. We generally put it an auto mode, though, so it can go higher if the air quality requires it. We’ve been impressed how it turns up higher aa needed. It correlates to activities in our house that we’d expect to increase particle counts. Turbo mode can be heard in an adjoining room if doors are open. It sounds like some of our fans. In an adjoining room, we aren’t bothered by turbo mode if the tv is on or people are talking. It’s quite noticeable though when the house is quiet and seems too loud when the house is otherwise quiet. We’ve been happy with these machines as we’ve seen plenty of evidence they work on the filters. I’ve also tested them with a particle counter.

What is Particle Pollution?

Airborne particles less than or equal to 10 microns in diameter are so small that they can get into the lungs, potentially causing serious health problems.

When inhaled, larger particles (2.5 microns and larger), tend to stay in the upper respiratory tract. Fine particles (2.5 microns or smaller) stay airborne longer than larger, heavier particles which increases the chances of being inhaled. These microscopic particles are considered more harmful because they can move deeper into the respiratory tract.
