Answer:	Too much ozone inhibits a plants ability to produce chlorophyll and high concentrations of ozone can suffocate a plant. If your grow room has exit air ventilation, attaching this to the outbound air would work better than in the grow room or space itself. I don't use this device for the same purpose as you, but ozone when used properly is a better sterilizer or air scrubber than even concentrated pool bleach. After retiring from Army aviation, I bought a home in a state with high humidity and black mold in A/C's plenum is a problem, I have a commercial ozone generator built into the A/C and this Cap ozone generator I use to sterilize my vehicle. I shuttle cancer patients as a volunteer, and keeping my vehicle germ free for them is life or death. So after a days driving, I use this . I also take big garbage bags and throw in my shoes or anything with a funk to it, and blow in ozone, turn the ozone off, and in 20-30 minutes the ozone reverts back to oxygen. Ozone can be highly beneficial if used properly. I also use this unit to clean my cats litter box and toys that get gross. I make sure the cats not in it first lol.

Answer:	Depends upon the size of the room. This unit has to cycle ALL the air in the room through it to remove all the germs from the room. This device is rated to clean 456 cubic ft in one hour. An 8 x 8 x 8 room is 512 cubic ft of air; takes 1.12 hours to clean. An 12 x 12 x 12 ft room is 1728 cubit ft of air; takes 3.78 hours to clean. I hope this helps. The 3rd number is the height of the ceiling, most are 8 ft tall.

Answer:	I had a similar situation, my old downstairs apartment neighbor smoked and the smell would creep into my place. This got rid of the smell in the room it was in (about 250-300 sq feet), while it was on.

Answer:	If the negative ion generator is on, it DOES produce ozone. The levels are below those required by the California Air Resources Board. However, recent information indicates that no level of ozone is safe. So I personally wouldn't use the ion generator.

Answer:	I have not noticed any major difference, having 3 dogs and 2 cats. We initially bought the unit for our office, but I tried it in my house for a week when we realized the unit simply could not perform as an effective smoke eater (as advertised). It performed a tiny bit better in a less harsh environment, but again the results were negligible. Honestly got better results opening windows, and that doesn't cost $600 (+$100/yr for filters)...
Question:	why its not working and the same time it gives strong electric shock
Answer:	Yes it will-but.... HEPA filter standard is .3 micron particles, cigarette smoke is in the .01 to 1 micron size. But wait..... (none of what follows is specific to this particular unit or brand) https://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/particle-sizes-d_934.html I also saw a distribution chart that indicated most cigarette smoke was about .1-.15 microns. This is why the absolute answer is 'No it won't,' the 'holes' in HEPA filters are too big. It will however, capture a lot of particles because particles hitting any part of the filter will stick--so it will help a lot. (Think of 1" balls hitting a sticky wall covered in 2" holes, and ten more walls just like it: a lot of those ping pong balls are going to be stuck right next to holes they could've passed through) Also this unit has an ion generator, this charges every particle in the air, which is then attracted to a collecting plate. These generators make ozone which is bad for your lungs and recommended against. However (again), I intentionally bought an electrostatic generator only air filter when I stayed a couple of nights in the apartment of a chain smoker. It was incredibly effective, but I would never use it long term. I also saw tests in a consumer products article in the New York Times that said 90% of sub .3 micron sized particles were trapped by HEPA filters (I'm a bit suspicious of the article....but I think this result is reasonable. I live where there are a lot of wild fires, and someone used to smoke near my house nearly every morning and the air movement brought the smoke in. I learned often after the smoke stopped it was in my house for days after, but if I vacuumed (I have a HEPA vacuum) that eliminated it. If you don't have a HEPA vacuum, what I used to do for my photo darkroom is to get a second hose, attach it to the vac's exhaust and run it outside.. The typical vacuum cleaner does a great job of grinding small dust up into even smaller dust and pushing it out the exhaust hole. If you buy this unit I would recommend never using the electrostatic setting except for those rare times someone smokes inside the house. I just had the idea that if you use a HEPA unit after a 'smoker' incident, and you have that vacuum cleaner set-up, vacuum the outside of the HEPA filter after the 'incident', I've vacuumed the outside of my HEPA units' carbon first filter regularly, and the HEPA filter inside my vacuum cleaner I will also vacuum off if my paper vac-bag has leaked. And N95 face masks (get the ones with the small exhaust valve) over your face work as well as any of this stuff. I wore one yesterday when smoke from the wild fires blew in my direction. Of course close doors and windows. The most effective way to deal with a smoker is to get as far away from them as possible, with weed smokers? call them up when they are good and stoned (and paranoid) and ask if their weed has pesticide in it because you can smell pesticide....
