Question:	It says window opening 16in...but if i take my windows completely out, put ac unit in, then windows back in, that should work right
Answer:	We were able to fit it through a 14" opening by tilting it and then sliding it through. We had the take one of the windows out and then put the window back in after installing it. How easy is it to instal all comes down to the window. We had to modify and change a few things when installing it to make it work for a low profile attic window.
Question:	drain plug on inside sounds like design disaster, for us in high humidity areas. Bucket really needed in the room or shuts off? My God
Answer:	Mine keeps displaying FL and will eventually shut off If I don't drain it myself........I emailed Soleus twice asking about this but got no response.......NOT IMPRESSED with the customer service or the unit
Question:	What does code FL mean n what should i do ive only had in use about 1 hour
Answer:	“FL” means bucket full, please use the drain port located at the front left to empty the extra water. This will rarely occur unless the humidity is very high when using the unit.
Question:	What is the maximum wall thickness that it can saddle

Dry Mode

We have engineered our unit to be as quiet as possible while cooling down your room. In addition, you can use the Sleep Mode function on your remote. This feature adjusts the temperature of the unit throughout the night to an optimal sleeping temperature, giving you a head start to the day when you rise in the morning.

Smart Remote Control

A common problem with Window Air Conditioners is that the set temperature is never the same as the temperature where you are at. Your AC might say that it is set to 65° but it feels like the Sahara Desert on your couch!

By using the iFeel function on the remote, your Air Conditioner will use a sensor on the remote to determine how long the AC unit operates. Every 10 minutes the remote will send a reading back to your Air Conditioner to let it know how hard to continue running.

- Yes, no separated purchase needed. 

2.This is my first installation experience, how can I install the item?

3.There is a gap between the body and the installation accessories after installation. 

- Please see the installation video on the product page for the steps to seal the gap. 

4.I found that there are missing parts in the package. 

- Please check the packages carefully and there are some brackets that may be in the corner or under the foam (ex. L brackets). 

5.Can screen be adjusted when the window is opened? 

- The screen is adjustable between 22”-36” for when people open their window – Height would be fixed at height from bottom of U to top of unit. *Reference adjustable screen separately sold.  

6.The machine is not cooling or cooling slowly.

8. The air volume is not enough to feel the wind. 

- Midea U uses a silent air duct design, and the air supply distance reaches 20 feet. While increasing the air volume, the wind noise is much smaller than the ordinary window machine. 

9.Can the display light of the machine and the key “beep” sound be turned off?  

-This is a regular feature and cannot be turned off at this time. A new version of the APP is being developed, and the function of turning off the display light and key tone will be realized by then.

10. What mobile phone permissions are required for the APP?
