Friedrich Uni-Fit in wall air conditioner makes it easy to replace air conditioners for existing 24.5", 26" or 27 ½" sleeves without complicated, time-consuming retrofits. This small unit is specifically designed to replace virtually any through-the-wall air conditioner quickly and cost-effectively. Depending on the existing sleeve’s size, Uni-Fit’s smaller dimensions may require the use of the included trim ring to bridge a small gap between the unit and the existing sleeve. The trim ring will fit gaps up to 1" on the sides and ½" on the top of the unit for a neat, finished appearance. All models include a remote control.

Answer:	I bought this unit about a month ago, it says it is a universal fit and it is adjustable that’s one of the reasons I bought this unit. When I measured mine right now the width is 24 inches and height is 14 inches. In the manual of this item it says the Wall-in sleeve Dimensions are: Height 15 3/4”, Width 26”, and Depth 16 3/4”. I didn’t install this myself I had a professional do it for me. I hope this information is helpful.

Answer:	Yes: side panels which needed a little bit of assembly and screws and other metal clips to hold the a/c panels to the window framing. Also a top metal bar which screws into the unit and can be attached to the upper window. Nothing very difficult. Also foam insulation strips are provided.

Answer:	I have several window units and this is my quietest. I measured using db meter on my phone: 65dB on low fan speed and 70dB on high. By contrast, my Kenmore 5000btu unit that is 3-4 years old runs 75dB on low fan speed.

Answer:	Make sure that the filter is reset. Where it says mode use that to change it from Fan to AC.
