Answer: Yes, so long as you keep the main unit on the ground. Placing it higher than any of the wall units requires special installation which I can not specify. You also want to ensure that the tubing required to run to each indoor unit to the outdoor blower is not more feet than allowed per unit spec. I think mine allowed like 133ft total length allowed for each copper line, requires 2 lines so about 266 ft. Might have been more it has been a few months. Works great though, runs so quietly you are afraid its not working at all. But it is :)
