Answer:	Its around 3.5 feet but what I did to make it longer and better insulated was for the living room sliding glass door I went to Home depot to the Plumbing aisle & bought some pipe foam insulator (1) and then walked down to the wood molding section and got door molding kit (its like $30.00) then I cut it to the size I needed with my saw,it's really easy,just a straight cut and did the same thing for the bedroom window. You can buy a accessory kit but I'm a DIY'er. A year ago my A/C bill was a little over $400 a month, I bought 2 of these De'Longhi (1 for the living room & 1 for the bedroom) and my bill is just a little over $200 a month now and I run them everyday. They have paid for themselves.I Live in Ca. & Hawaii so it's always hot and/or humid, I don't know why more people don't know about De'Longhi ,better than traditional A/C -heater unit and better than inverters in my opinion.
