Answer:	I would think so... of course it depends on the height of the ladder, the roof, and the angle you'd end up with... all being unknown it's hard to say... but the piece adds so much stability I was able to paint my house without once feeling off balance when I'd reach a bit, and it comes in handy for any job... easy to take on and off for storage too. Answer:	Can't say for sure the ends have semi hard rubber ends. I can't see how those ends could cause any more damage than standard ladder ends would. I just used this attachment on my ladder putting new siding up and painting no big issues. The siding was not vinyl.

Answer:	I bought this mat to use to protect an asphalt roof from damage. Due to the angle of the roof, it did not help. So, my input is if you want to use this mat on a angle or slope, be careful. No feedback on level surfaces.

Answer:	I bought one of these pads specifically for that purpose. I was helping my niece paint an 18 foot high living room with a 24 foot ladder. She also had polished wood floors and tiles. Pad worked very well. I weigh 215 and the ladder was rock stable. The pad smells very strongly of rubber but don't put in garage before use. Has to be room temperature.

Answer:	No, there aren't any instructions included...at least not that I remember. It's the 2 screws holding the handle in and you follow down the recliner where the previous line connected. Should be a little hole in the bracket where you insert the 'S' end and that's really it.
Question:	is this a 3"x 3.5" replacement
Answer:	More like 2 1/2" X 3" rough hole size. The leaver section sticks out another 2". That is the part that got me in trouble because my chair has storage bins in the arms. But I was ale to use the cable as my handle was not broken, just the cable connection to it. Hope this helps.
Question:	I have one...I got this and replaced the part...no big deal. But the chair still sticks some and doesn't recline as easy as the other side
Answer:	Make sure you routed the cable the same way as on the other side. I had a similar issue and fixed it that way.

Answer:	I doubt it! I folded mine to double it and sat only above it and it helped for a little while, but eventually wasn’t really helpful anymore. I’m thinking of getting a piece of plywood and maybe covering it with cloth. Good luck!

Question:	Can I cut it to fit my sofa if the size is too long
Answer:	The couch we used it on was purchased from Mega Furniture, but if your couch has a release like this, then it should work. They are fairly universal and actually pretty easy to install. The hard part is flipping your couch upside down, but from there, you just take the old one out and retrace this new one in exactly in place of the old.

Answer:	I think it is interchangeable from side to side and I did use it for the left side of our sofa

Answer:	If the distance measured between the spring rails is 25" then these may be too long. I'd suggest taking a look at the 25" springs that we we offer.

Answer:	Yes, but you might have to add a board to the frame on the underside. We used wood screws and glue to attach a 1×2 board for the spring clips. It is harder to get the leverage to stretch the springs when doing it from the underside. You may also need to replace the foam in the cushions. For us it was worth it, sectional couch like new.

The use of a pilot hole might help. I used coarse threaded wood screws. Right over the fabric. This will be in a spot where you will not see it so if any damage does happen, you wount notice it.
