Answer:	I have had problems extending and retracting my ladder. I have had to have two people pull the ladder to the full length, then I have to force the rungs on the bottom half together. Answer:	I've used it several times extended only the sections I needed to get the work done, so yes you can do it safely. I do recommend that you inspect ALL the locks carefully to make sure that they in a FULLY LOCKED POSITION. I've had some issues with them not completely locking, and the ones that don't will slide down, so make absolutely sure they are locked.

Answer:	There is the metal on metal sound when extending and collapsing. The locks make a distinct click sound when they lock into place while extending. And if you let the ladder slam while collapsing, even with the rubber stoppers it makes a good noise. Climbing seems to be quiet on mine compared to tradition aluminum extension ladders. I’m sure each ladder is different on the exact “creaks and groans” made. Also, there is Velcro that holds it when it’s collapsed. So, that could be considered loud.

Answer:	Let me give you a DETAILED description. First off, I don't have the 3-step structure. I have the 4-step one. So, therefore, I cannot tell you what the dimensions are for the 3-step structure shown. So, let's go with what I have. EACH step is 16" wide - i.e. from left to right; it is 7" wide- i.e. from heel to toe if you were stepping up on a landing as if you were climbing up (or down) these stairs. The steps are about 3/4" thick. With the 4-step structure, I've had to TIE a piece of fabric around the columns that support the 3rd and 4th steps because those steps were too wobbly just left alone after the instructions were finished. Then I did the same thing to the columns that support the 2nd and 3rd steps (landings). After THAT, the structure was firm enough to support my cat running up and down the stairs. But, you DO have to tie up the columns; otherwise this structure is just too wobbly. I hope this information helps.

Answer:	This will depend on how high the wall is. It’s designed to be used on small SUVs, cars and trucks with a bumper height of about 27-29”. The goal for us was a relatively small rise on each step from the ground to the car. If the wall is higher than 30” the angle will be more vertical and the steps won’t be big enough to step on to go up or down.

Answer:	I can't really answer this question, other than I know the stairs come in two different sizes, the 3-step and the 4-step. I have one of each. Our aging cat seems to have no problem with either. In fact she doesn't even use the bottom step on the 4 high steps. She jumps down from the second step up. I know dogs tend to be a little less agile than cats. I would say for a dog that has really short legs or can't 'step up' much or at all, something of a ramp might work better..or build your own...?? Sorry, that's the best I can do.

Question:	What is the height UNDER the bed? I'm looking to get a dresser to fit underneath, but can't find any information to know how tall I can buy
Answer:	That is not true---I bought this for a small room and have a large dresser under, quite wide, and 35" tall. Just pull the dresser flush to the front. I put a big tote box behind the dresser, and I store less used toys in it. To one side of the dresser I put a bean bag chair, and have my child's TV near the bed. He loves sitting in the bean bag in his little "hideaway cave" reading books or watching TV I loved this bed, it was a great purchase because it is not so high that I worry about him. It is just the right height for me to be able to tuck him in, he is right at my eye level, standing up.
Question:	Could you fit a queen bed lengthwise underneath the bed? Is it wide enough to have a bed fit in between the poles
Answer:	Inside pole to inside pole measurement is 74.5 inches. A queen mattress (minus frame ) is 60 inches. So there should be no problem fitting the loft bed over the queen width-wise. It will probably not go over it length-wise, though it may go over some full sized mattresses that way.

Question:	What's the size of the area underneath the bunk? Will a twin size bed frame fit in there? Thank you
Answer:	A twin mattress would certainly fit, but there is no framing for it. With the framing, you'd have to choose carefully. The area beneath the bunk is the same measurement as the full size mattress.
Question:	Can you put a normal full size mattress on it? Or does it require the special mattress
Answer:	If you put a normal full size, the thick mattress will exceed the safety bars. But, we did it anyway. So far, so good. No kids have fallen out of bed.
Question:	Would this fit in a room with a ceiling height of 87 inches
Answer:	It's not a ton of room up top (definitely need bunkie board and low profile mattress/no box spring), but yes, it works for me with ceilings that height. The part of the bed where the bunkie board and matress sit is around 59-60 inches from ground. Then bunkie boards were 1.5in, and mattress 5in. I did have to purchase an alternate ceiling light fixture for this room as it was too close to the bed for comfort in my space. 9x11 with 87in ceiling. :) hope this helps.
Question:	Can a 200 lb. adult sleep on this bed
Answer:	Yes, my boyfriend and I sleep on it. He's a body builder whom weighs 220. I weigh 115. It shakes when we get on or off it, but thats even when the cats jump off their cat tree on to it.
