Answer:	I am not sure how much each individual shelf will support. The top shelf on mine is supporting 41 pounds. The middle shelf has 36 pounds. The bottom shelf has 16 pounds. The shelves seem solid and are not wiggely BUT I believe you should carefully determine what the proper weight per shelf by visiting the manufacturer website, following their recommendation and carefully assembling by included instructions. I did not take the TV off the wall frame but according to the manufacturer website it weighs 100 pounds. (LG Infinia 60PZ950 60-Inch) That said I have the TV frame bolted into the wood wall studs and I believe that is critical for safety. If I can be of further assistance please feel free to let me know.

The Velcro closures should still close the cover tight enough around a10500 size reel for good protection. Not sure if the top flap will go over the rod handle as pictured on the Amazon website though. I just purchased a new Penn reel and will be ordering this reel cover as soon as I can.
