Answer:	The top of the cushion is approx. 14" off the floor. The cushion and support comprises 6" and then down 8" to the floor. Very low by American standards.

Answer:	There is no cover, technically. So, no...it is not washable. You would have to purchase a cover for this.

Answer:	I think it is very comfortable as a couch or bed. Just be aware that with normal (not necessarily everyday) use, within less than a year, the plastic toggle pieces (that create the indentations in the futon) may pull through and leave holes that cannot be fixed.
Question:	I am over 300 lbs. Do you think I would feel the coils. I currently have a traditional 8" futon I use on a platform that I built
Answer:	I bought this mattress for my son's twin over futon bunk bed. I slept on it a couple of nights when my wife kept waking me up because of my snoring. I'm 300+ and thought it was VERY comfortable for a couple of nights. Not sure if it would hold up to my heavy ass sleeping on a regular, long-term basis, but we've had it a year now and it's still considered a good purchase. We like it enough that I'm ordering a 2nd one now for a family weekend place.

Answer:	Sorry I can’t answer your question because I never used a cover. I actually bought an 8 inch memory foam mattress and put it on top of this futon couch to make it more comfortable for me.

Answer:	It is SMALLER THAN A FULL SIZE BED and could not sleep two adults. A full mattress is 54" wide, this product is 44" wide when opened to a bed. I was expecting a full size and was very disappointed to see its smaller size. The depth is 71" versus 74" for a full size bed.
