Answer:	Well, I came to Amazon to answer this question for you and it appears that Ashley G. has put it perfectly. It is difficult to push the footrest in and we have had it for approximately 5 months as well. HOWEVER, do not let that deter you... we have it in our nursery as well and it looks and feels great and is a great chair for nursing. I will try and post some pics.

Answer:	I've had this chair for about a year now and, yes...the friction closing, using your legs was awkward when it was new, and has gotten much harder over time. For what it's worth to others, I have found that it works much better if you sit back in the seat, rather than scooting forward to use your legs. This may go against intuition, but it seems to work much better with the added leverage you get.

Answer:	These rockers are easy to assemble. I assembled two of them in less than an hour. I later found out that I tightened the bolt too tight in the arm barrel nut and broke one of them in half though. Over all we're satisfied only desired them to be bigger and stronger than they are.

Answer:	The fabric on this chair is not a microfiber. It might be a Cotten/polyester blend? It is not a super soft fabric but very study and easy to clean! There is no shine, just a flat material.

Question:	Why are the screws on the outside of the rockers ? Makes for bumpy ride...did I do it incorrectly
Answer:	Maybe you didn't tighten the screws enough on the runners/rocking legs. They should be screwed in so they are recessed, not sticking out. The only screws that should be on the "outside" are where the arms go in to the back frame. They are on the underside of the arms so they should not be a problem.

Answer:	The back is one piece. The seat is another. There are two arms, two front legs, and two runners. The assembly was pretty easy and took less than 15 minutes. By the way, everyone LOVES this chair!

Answer:	It's about 3 feet deep.

Answer:	It reclines to about a 45 degree angle. It is very comfortable. It glides and is quiet and gentle. You cannot glide and recline at the same time.
Question:	When sitting in this chair, is there enough room for your neck to rest? I'm 5'7. Thank you
Answer:	I am 5'6" and can rest my head on the back of the chair, as can my husband who is 5'10". I'm a little short for the chair and have a little trouble closing the foot rest since the chair is a tad tall for me, so it should be just right for someone 5'7".

Question:	how tall is the back? I need a 42 inch
Answer:	It doesn't, but when I was nursing my son when he was a newborn it wasn't hard to stand up. It does not rock back too far that you'll lose balance or anything like that.

Question:	I am looking for an unassembled chair to fit up a very narrow stairway (23 in wide). What are the dimensions of the box and what assembly is required
Answer:	As I recall the box was about 3’x3’and and around 18” tall. Assembly was medium hard I did it my self. The wood frame first then attaching the 4 upholstered pieces. Two sides, back then the bottom.
