Answer:	I have not found a zipper or a way to remove the cushion. We have only used furniture/carpet cleaner and vac up when real messy. A damp clothe cleans most minor dirt.

The down side for me is that it is too short in the recline position. I'm 5-10 and my legs hang too far past the leg rest.
