I liked the chair a lot and the price was right so I actually bought another one (knowing to be more careful), to my surprise the base assembly is much stronger and I could never reproduce that sort of failure.Long story short, the weight capacity may have changed with the silent redesign. |

My 9 yr old niece looks too big on it. Its really for kids 2 and up to maybe 6 or 7 I think. Its a cool chair tho. Get lots of comments on it from friends. Hope this helps u |

| Answer: | I don't think it would be a good desk chair unless your desk is pretty low. A standard 28 - 30 inch high desk is probably going to be too high for this. It doesn't have height adjustment so you'd be much better off getting an actual office chair. As a lounge chair for reading / watching tv it is very comfortable and nice. |

| Answer: | I do not know.I am 239 and it has no problems with my weight.If you are large, the chair will round you, like siting in a cup.I sit with a pillow in the back and seat now, which I find comfortable. |

| Answer: | From inside arm to arm 20 inches, depth 21 inches. Chair is only 14 inches from floor to top of seat. Hope this helps. |
