Answer:	Hose is 50'. I tried a generic hose from Lowes with my bell with poor results. Then I bought this hose and the difference was amazing! The bell will now ring from just stepping on the hose. Totally worth the extra $$!

Answer:	It's not a hand bell like the musical kind used in bell choirs. It's a simple bell. You jiggle it and it rings, ting-a-ling-a-ling as long as you move it around. A fairly high-pitched sound and fairly loud for its small size. Hope this is helpful.

I do think a group of hungry people would notice and line up to eat if they are not already hovering over the food.

Answer:	medium density fiberboard. Instead of the table being made of a solid piece of wood, it is made of mdf. It's wood by product compressed into a thick shape. Think of it as particle board on steroids. It's lighter than a solid piece of wood and a little less durable but it still holds up nicely.

Answer:	I was able to fit the pole and the base easily. But you're right that there are no screws or anything to hold the pole in place with either the top or base. If it becomes an issue, you might try to use some type of glue or adhesive to keep the pieces intact.
