Answer:	The first of times it is a bit tight but it will loosen. If you can get your finger between the 2 edges and have someone help pull the table in the opposite direction you can open it. Just close and open it a few times and it will get easier.

Answer:	I'm sure it may depend on the activity but yes it should work, my 4 year old prefers sitting on his knees or standing instead of using the chairs I bought. It is a good height for adults to sit on the floor as well while assisting. We use it for building blocks, race tracks, and puzzles.

Answer:	I did not use folding chairs. I got multi color (red, yellow, blue etc) from Costco but that was awhile back. Did you try Amazon? Also look at the Wayfair website. They seem to have everything and have a lot for kids. Their quality is good.

Answer:	These tables are fairly easy to clean. Wet wipes tend to remove most stains (paint, marker, clay, etc.) from the table, although sometimes we do have to scrub a little depending on what materials we used that day.

Answer:	The table has a textured vinyl covering. I would not consider it padded. We have used it with 3 grandchildren ages 18mos - 4 yrs and are very happy with the table and chairs. Would not hesitate to buy again.

Answer:	The seat is 12" from the floor. The top edge of the back of the chair is 22" high. The seat itself is 11" X 11".I have used this set aprx. 6 times with 2,3 and 4 year olds. It opens and closes easily, but has the locking mechanism so it does not collapse. I actually store all 4 chairs and the table under my sofa and loveseat. The vinyl cover could be heavier; so, I do watch the little ones so they do not dig into it with a toy or child's fork, for instance. Overall, very happy with it. Great for dinners, play-doh, coloring, and "tea parties:)"
Question:	What weight can the chairs hold
Answer:	My 6 year old grandson could just fit in a chair, but I think it is more about the size of the child rather than the weight, as the set has been used by other grandchildren ages from about 1 up to 6 very comfortably. The child's size is the determining factor. The chairs are very sturdy, will not collapse, and even some adults have trouble figuring out how to fold seats up until I show them the peg to press on the chair leg; chairs are very secure. I wouldn't advise an adult using it for a step stool, but all ages of preschool should have no problem sitting. The top of table & chairs is only lightly padded & table should be covered it for large art projects/placemats for meals to keep the surface intact, as "fabric" of chairs and table could be indented/cut if not used properly. It is a very charming set.

I was able to lift it myself and assemble (on a blanket or carpet to avoid damaging the wood while it was on its side for assembly) in 10 min or less after reading the instructions. The product was well packaged--we had no damage to any pieces and the assembled product is stuffed FULL of books and has held up well (we purchased in January 2013). --Lauren
