Answer:	I don't think it locks, but it collapses very easily by pulling on the indented handle in the middle. Just hold the handle and pull up and it collapses. I suppose if a hand or finger was holding onto a side, it might get pinched, but I don't imagine that happening. Collapses very easily just by pulling on the handle and it stays collapsed. Very handy little stool to have around.
Question:	Is there any kind of slip prevention on the feet? Rubber pads or something else mayhaps

Answer:	Yes I also bought a new filter dial. since I was having trouble with removing it so also bought the hardware for the top. Everything fit nicely and I am happy with the results. Beats buying a new filter

Answer:	The model number can be found on the label of the tank body.
Question:	Good to use in the shower for shaving
Answer:	No pressure gauge. It does come with the locking knob on the top. Threading the lock washer inside is really heard. It took me forever to get that to snap in.
Question:	The product information says that this stool is 7in tall, but two people say they have measured and it's 5in tall. Which is correct
Answer:	Due to the nature of the product, they do not come with any type of product warranty. This set should last anywhere between 3-5 years if properly maintained.

Answer:	I used it on a hard surface but I see no reason why it would not be suitable for carpeted stairs.

Answer:	I haven't painted it, but did apply anti-skid stickers (mine were intended to apply to a bathtub). My intent for this stool was for a pet's use, and adding the stickers gives him added traction.

Question:	What is the height of the highest step
Answer:	The website says it's 300 pounds. My husband at about 200 pounds is fine on it. By the way since I like the stool, I bought another purple stool, after returning two white ones, and the tabs are long enough and fit properly. So it does click in to place. I don't know why the white tabs weren't made longer.
