Answer:	I don't think it locks, but it collapses very easily by pulling on the indented handle in the middle. Just hold the handle and pull up and it collapses. I suppose if a hand or finger was holding onto a side, it might get pinched, but I don't imagine that happening. Collapses very easily just by pulling on the handle and it stays collapsed. Very handy little stool to have around.
Question:	Is there any kind of slip prevention on the feet? Rubber pads or something else mayhaps
Answer:	Yes, the stool folds completely flat. Excellent choice for a bathroom stool for my granddaughter to reach the sink when brushing her teeth. Stool folders up complete flat for easy storage.

Answer:	Not sure...I did not like the product I actual just ended up getting rid of it. The toothbrush holder part did not fit some of my kids toothbrushes the holes are for just a standard normal straight tooth brush I did not like the cups either they were not easy to keep clean.
