Answer:	Yes. We really like the desk/chair for our 7 year old grandson. He doesn't use the chin rest a lot, but he has used it. He's about 4'4" tall. With the adjustable chair and desk, it fits him nicely. Yes, the book holder does tilt and the two "legs" hold papers on the stand.
