| Answer: | There is a single screw that can be put into the standing platform to hold it in place and yes in order to fold it you would have to pull it out. With that said though my daughter has used this step stool since she was 15 months old and we did not put a screw in the standing platform and it is still very safe and we have no problems folding it back up as a matter of fact we fold it often. So it is still safe even without the screw in the standing platform and you will be able to fold it with out any problems. My daughter loves to help in the kitchen and this step stool makes it possible. I highly recommend it! I hope this helps you. |

| Answer: | The stool kind of works for the potty but I would recommend getting something else if your primary use would be a step for the potty. The issue we have had with this stool in the bathroom is that it is very large. Even though I would not recomend this for the potty it is a great stool and we use it very day. Jayce wants to be involved in everything we do in the kitchen. My daughter and son-in-law live with us right now and I do most of the cooking. This allows me to set him up to be my little helper i.e stir the mix, put the vegetable in the pot, peel the onion skin etc. This is only one way we use this. He also plays at the kitchen sink, eats snacks and some meals like breakfast or lunch when he doesn't want to get in his highchair or he gets up just to be at our level and observe what's going on. I can't say enough good things about this helper. I wouldn't want to be without out. |
