The day I put mine together I was sick from my daughter and half asleep from working overtime and I was able to put it together I only messed up putting the x part together so I had to go back and unscrew one side and flip it to make the holes on the same side but I love my desk

Question:	I'm unable to secure the chair in an elevated position. Every time my child sits, the chair slips to its lowest level. How do you secure the chair
Answer:	Fully extend the chair from lowest setting too highest, as you do count the clicks to the top(if you extend past the last click it unlocks the chair and collapses back to lowest setting). Now go all the way back to the bottom and raise the chair one click at a time to the desired hight, the chair will lock after each click if you push down unless you extend past the last click then it unlocks and goes all the way back down.

Question:	Can I fit a 27.5 inch tall file cabinet under this desk without scratching the underside of the desk
Answer:	Yes, 27.5" from the ground would not touch the bottom of the tabletop supports. However, even the smaller 15"w filing cabinets wouldn't allow you to fit yourself under the desk. The top of the desk is 39" long, but the underside space between the legs is only 34". Subtract 15 from 34, which leaves 19" and not much room for your legs and/or chair.

Answer:	It can be but I wouldn’t recommend it. I’m an adult and I bought it as a writing desk but the tabletop is too narrow and the space for my legs is cramped (I’m tall).

Answer:	The material is extremely strong and durable, not flimsy at all. It feels like heavy thick wood. The tubes support the shelves are stainless steel.

Answer:	To put it together, you need to start with the feet on the ground, put a shelf over the holes where the feet are then screw the longest poles into the feet through the shelf (twice, once for each bottom shelf). Then place the next two shelves over the poles. The medium sized tubes will screw into the long tubes through the second set of shelves. Then place one of the big shelves (the one with the most holes) onto the medium sized poles, then screw in the small tubes. Add the the little black slats to the grooves on that shelf, then place the second large shelf over the top of that and then screw in the caps and you are done. I hope that helps. Have a great day!
